Akibaranger Season 2 Episode 11 "Delusional Cemetery" Discussion
 

So OT managed to get the subs up early this week; just finished watching the episode.

I'm now really REALLY curious just how far back they started brainstorming S2 of the series, given the callback to the portals back in S1E6 (I went and doublechecked out of curiosity, and they did indeed seed that way back then. Easy to overlook.)

REALLY looking forward to the next episode. Malshina has definitely become a fantastic character.

Stupid cliffhanger.

Great episode. I honestly thought that season 1 was really rewritten, but they've actually managed to pull all of it back in. Very cool.

I also loved that the ending theme was Bandora's song.

I swear if the next lot of Tamashii exclusives doesn't include Malshina I'm going to be SEVERELY disappointed.

This episode was perfection. Everything suddenly links brilliantly together again and the meta is stronger than ever, Malshina dominated the episode and Luna (in my eyes anyway) has finally surpassed Mitsuki. And then the most perfect ending theme happened and I fell in love with the episode all over again.

Well, at least we now know why there wasn't a Kyoryuger this week. Damn you Malshina for what you did.:p

I also loved the Bandora song as the closing on this week's episode.

Loved loved loved it!! Whoever said a few months ago that they thought the self aware TV angle didn't work is crazy. This show continues to be absolute perfection, everything I could ever want and much much more :D

Really makes me glad I have Delu Knight's FIguart on pre order now. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Tell me about it, so happy I got my order in way back. Although his Season 2 design differs in a few key points from Season 1. Mainly the chest reactor and the matte versus chrome face plate. He's overall a bit darker too.

LOVE the new box style for Akibared!

Wow, episodes 10 and 11 were fantastic!!! I loved the roll call when Yellow kicked Red in the crotch. That was hysterical. In fact, everything was hysterical, especially seeing Malshina as past villains.

Well glad they finally linked 1 and 2 :lol and I now cannot wait to get the season 2 SHF :lol

The raw for 12 is out and about. You should definitely look for it at once. :)

It is being done much, much, much better in Season Tsu then it was in Season One. In here its funny and well done, while in Season One it completely lost the plot and basically made everything beforehand irrelevant and, while still had its fair share of giggles, just had less enjoyable episodes compared to before about Episode 9 (10?).

I am still loving Season Tsu, which was not the case in Season One.

Season 2 is awesome! It's kinda hard to keep track of sometimes, but Malshina is officially the basassest women we have in Sentai at the moment. Then again, that's not hard, considering the greatest competition is Candylira and Medusa

This episode is epic.

Man, I really hope someone subs 12 before I head out to LA Wed morning.

I hope next year they would do something for the anniversaries of AbaRanger and KakuRanger.

So is 13 just another clip show?

It is but it has them narrating events like the changes from season 1. The end has new footage with the 3 of them going off with the official heroes. But i cant get a sense of whats going on exactly without the subs.

Abaranger is reason enough for me. Timeranger and Bioman are just icing on the cake.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but . . .

Given all the sentai characters in that image are dead, I don't fancy their chances.

13 seemed to me to be pretty "final," especially the last scene.

There was a magzine solicitation that came out right around the first glimpses we had of Cho Akibared Super. The initial magazine scans for his toy had a veiled reference to a possible Season 3.

Drillbit originaly posted this and traslated the highlighted portion. Roughly it means "fund it for Season 3". So in other words, just like Season 1, if enough merch is sold during and after Season 2's run then that support & demand will prove that a Season 3 is not only viable but profitable.

Those characters are indeed dead, as are the Akibarangers if I'm understanding the raw correctly.
