SDCC Exclusive Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Tamashii Stage Set
 

In addition to the exclusive Power Rangers Super Samurai 5-pack, Bluefin Tamashii Nations will also be offering a second Power Rangers related exclusive at San Diego Comic Con.

This exclusive 3 Tamashii stand set will come with dedicated stands for the forthcoming S.H. Figuarts Red and Green Rangers, as well as a third mystery one yet to be announced. The news also states that "a hint for a yet to be announced release in the series is also provided in the pack, and only true fans will be able to guess what it is". Interesting!

This very limited set will be available for $15 at the event. Check out the full-sized image after the jump!

Hmm, that third stand is looking GOLD. ARe they teasing us with the stand coloring?

Maybe Grifforzer? But I highly doubt it. I think they're just throwing a red herring. Pink or White is more likely. Kibaranger had gold on his suit anyway.

Did they not announce KibaRanger as the White Ranger already?

If not then it's a simple "...duh?" moment. I doubt it'd be Zeo Gold, simply because they wouldn't use the MMPR logo.

I wouldn't mind having this set even though I'm getting the JP figures. I could display them in Powerful Ranger style. Hehe.

I actually don't think it has been "officially" announced even though they've said it is definitely coming over.

I think its become very obvious it'll just be saying "WHITE RANGER".

Yeah he's been officially announced, he's up for preorder on Amazon directly from them.

So how long before Reprolabels comes out with stickers for your regular stage, at way less of a price point :lol

Bluefin said it will be the stand of the Figuarts that not announced yet.
So maybe it's not Kibaranger/White Ranger.

Is there any real doubt that the mystery figure is Tyranno Red with Dragon Ranger's armor?

While this set is cool, I'd rather just get a normal set than pay the premium on these because of the secondary market price.

It's nice that we are getting stands in the USA but I'm not a fan of these Tamashii Stands. Please give is the stands that come with Figmas.

Eh. If I was getting the US release of these figures that would be cool but I'm all in on the JP releases. So I'll just stick with the horde of blank stages I have and the almost assured Reprosatsu Zyuranger decals.

Well they can't do that since Max Factory isn't Bandai and Tamashii Stages are their in house display stands. That's like saying "I like these Jazwares Sonic toys but I really want them to use GI Jone stands" :lol

oh god no, figma stands are the worst, my figma luka breaks those things like no tomarrow. I got like 5 broken figma stands. i'll gladly take tamashii stands over those

The third stand is pretty obviously the MMPR White Ranger...

The only interesting thing about it is the "exclusive hint" at an upcoming figure.

(And the stand junkie in me WANTS this even though I only have plans to get [maybe not even keep] one of these three. >_<)

As someone who has a bunch of figma and a lot of Figuarts, I can say that Tamashii Stages are vastly superior and versatile, but its much better to get the customisable packs rather then freebie ones like these and what Akibared came with. The straight pole piece is vital for standing or kneeling poses.

If they're selling this as a set, then it would make sense to include rangers from the same season.

And if I'm not mistaken, Dragon Armor Red was pretty much confirmed by a rep's comment a few days back...though he hasn't been officially announced yet

I wouldn't mind having those, but any after show price will be too much for Tamashii Stages.

I've given up trying to guess what's sarcasm and what isn't on these boards, lol.

So.... If this were a 7 set thing where I could have an individually labeled stand for all 6 original rangers and white. It would be worth it . But having a special stand for just 3 figures would really throw off my o.c.d.

I may try and get this. I'm gonna say it's Goldar since it's a yet to be announced figure(which probably will be announced at SDCC). Would look good with White/KibaRanger though.

Could the gold just be a place holder color to throw us off. Easy photoshop job to do. Or maybe Red with the GOLD Dragon Shield? If it is a normal release we've heard about like the White Ranger they are bringing over then why hide it?

They will definitely not be showing off any sort of original figure like that. New molds for figuarts don't debut in the US first. I'm like 99% sure it's just meant for White Ranger.

Except they said it's supposed to be for Figuart that hasn't been revealed yet. Bluefin announced the White Ranger weeks ago.

No, that's not what it's saying... There's a surprise "in the pack" for an unrevealed figure. They didn't say the stand was for that figure. I thusly still believe it's for the White Ranger.

You could not be more wrong. MMPR Red was revealed at New York Comic-Con. A bunch of DBZ figuarts were revealed there too. While they probably won't reveal release info, they can reveal figures.

And you could not have misunderstood what I said more. New figuarts molds do not debut in the US as in, get released here first, ever. DBZ figures may be shown off at cons here and decided by web polls. But they are 100% released in Japan first as Tamashii Web Exclusives. Just as with every other figuart ever made. Whatever this is it won't be something exclusive for the North American market that is an original tooling. They may have something on display for people to look at that hasn't been seen yet but it most certainly will not come out here first.

Yes. Like this month or July. Whatever they have displayed or is revealed at SDCC will be out on full display at Features V6.
