Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Sixth Division Round 2
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman
Blue Ranger: TJ Johnson
Pink Ranger: Jen Scotts
Green Ranger: Adam Park

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

Will Tommy begin his long, seemingly inevitable march to the finals here? Should Gem be worried that googling "Power Rangers Gem" brings up as many pictures of Tommy as it does of him? Which Ranger will reign supreme?

I voted for Gem, just because I know Tommy is gonna win, but I mean I really dont want Gem to Rocky'd bc of who he is facin :lol

Gem. Because as much as Tommy will win this thing in a curb stomping akin to stopping Ghengis Khan's great conquest with Apache assault choppers, Tanks and ICBMs, I want to see the BOOM Twins try to best each other.

Even if the twins like explosives more than the Mythbusters and would rather blow Grinders up than fight each other.

Of the two twins, I honestly much prefer Gemma. She seemed to be a much more fleshed out character than Gem.

Also has the better suit design IMO.

Out of curiousity: Switch, all it says is MMPR. If Tommy becomes Sixth is it MMPR Green or MMPR White?

He ends up Silver in the end of this game if he wins anyway. So I think that's why he left it unspecified.

And I voted Tommy. I love Tommy , but if he is gonna lose. Then he is gonna lose to somebody worth beating him. Gem is not the one. Maybe Jason as Gold , maybe Robo Knight. I dunno ... But not Gem!

Gem and Gemma both.. annoyed me, to be honest. I kept hoping Dillon would just bitchslap the both of them.

Agreed. I thought Gem was by far the weakest character in RPM. And his abilities weren't all that astounding either.

The only thing I got from Gem was that he was creepy. When Gemma was flirting with Flynn and he got jealous. That rubbed me the wrong way.

You don't have to be overprotective brother , when the guy is the Boy Scout of the power rangers... Just sayin!

Gem cracks me up but it is an easy vote for Tommy in every round. Tommy actually did more in MMPR than most 6th rangers ever do and was even the leader as white. I hate when people try to pretend that he didn't do anything because anyone that actually watched those episodes knows better.



Robo Knight? That can't be serious. Dude has been in what, two episodes?

Considering I never saw RPM, I'ma go with Tommy.

He's in here as both, technically. Each character only gets one slot in a division, even if they qualify multiple times. Hence why Adam didn't get both MMPR Black and Zeo Green slots in the last pool.

Thats fine. In my mind he went in has MMPR Black.

It was a joke. It was to emphasize how much I don't want Gem to win this.

Gem, because genius-level intellect+highly advanced weaponry+child-like delight towards explosions+heart of gold (no pun intended)=Tommy's demise.
