What do you think is the weakest of the 35 to date?


My vote would have to go to Goseiger; any potential this series had wound up wasted due to flat characters and lackluster writing.

but really, Goseiger is the worst

I'm probably gonna be in the minority here, but I thought Boukenger was worse than Goseiger.

Atleast Goseiger had ONE good character (Brajira/Burdoran), everyone in Boukenger just seemed dull and lifeless. The villains were crap, and the only thing that kept my interest were the mecha.

I really didn't like Magiranger, especially after the three year amazement there was during Hurricanger, Abaranger and Dekaranger.

Gokaiger is the first Sentai I've watched (skipped the others, didn't want to ruin the Power Rangers aspect of it that I enjoy). Might try Goseiger, but I keep hearing horrible things. Will definitely watch Gobuster, or whatever it ends up becoming.

I can't say I've watched enough to really say what the worst is, nor do I have the judgement to say which one I found the worst. Dekaranger's soundtrack was pretty painful, Gokaiger is just boring sometimes, Gekiranger had that cringe-worthy knuckle-cracking noise...
They're all ridden with nitpicks that impede me from fully enjoying or hating any one show.

So BORING! i mean, my god. I watched the first 12...and i fell asleep EVERY episode.

I've watched a little bit of everything at this point... I can't really get into Gingaman, Magiranger or Gekiranger. Or Goseiger for that matter. Just don't feel 'em.

Goseiger, it was boring and did nothing to enthrall me with their characters. Even gosei-knight became bland after they calmed him down. Though I will say the Atla versus Knight fight was at least well done.

Forgot- I just saw the first couple of episodes of Turboranger, and didn't like it very much. The fairy deal is pretty annoying to me, and doesn't explain very well why they have CAR powers. Even Carrangers' "Karru Magic" or whatever was good enough for me... Car constellations? I'm cool with that. The engines for Go-onger were just fine... but here, the fairies are dying 'cause of pollution, so 5 youths who have an affinity for faries (I guess- it's just assumed and not very well explained) get henshin devices and big cars (which run green, I guess). Whatev.

I havent seen enough to truly judge, I've only seen Gao, Deka-Gokai. My least favorite of them all though would be Goseiger, but Moune is just too cute for me to hate it.

Goseiger and Bokenger were not that good considering they pretty much had zero plot. Go-onger and CarRanger are at the bottom of my list for all the terrible, forced humor. But Ohranger is by far the worst. I mean, it nearly killed the entire franchise.

Goseiger hands down, it has been the only series ive outrite dropped because I couldnt take it anymore

im not a fan of Magiranger either, and I think GoGoV is a terrible series. I really looked forward to Turboranger but the whole fairy motif was just too much

Havent watched enough but I'd say Boukenger (Not watched Goseiger). Despite saying that, I do still like it.

I will go with Goseiger. Like I said in another Topic, I didn't start giving a crap about Goseiger until like episode 41 and the entire run is 50 eps. so that's pretty bad. It also didn't help the fact that I went right into this series right after watching Shinkenger. I will say at least one positive about Goseiger, I love the suits.

Boukanger.....just...NOTHING happens. hated that THAT was the series on when I was in Japan.

Goseijer.....you know for a guy who tells everyone to POWER THROUGH those first 7 episodes of Hurricanger, I really shouldn't talk but I got to episode 5, saw the walking talking Pachinko machine and said "DONE!"..... apparently I chose well.

I've long been able to not compare the sentai to the PR.....but there's no way I could ever do that with Gingaman.


Also if your not into Gekiranger....your doing something wrong.

Dengeki Sentai Changeman, thumbs down. After watching the first four episodes, I still can't find a reason to root for this team. The pacing is flat, the characters just have no character, the villains are boring and the team commander is a complete asshole who gets hundreds of his men killed just to get his five Super Sentai warriors.

Hell, it makes Tensou Sentai Goseiger watchable.

I can only judge off of show I've tried to watch & gave up on. So saying that, Goseiger & Go-onger have to be the worst for me.
Goseiger just annoyed me all around. Go-onger, Sōsuke & Bomper just pissed me off.

I've heard that OhRanger started really strong and then after some terrorist attacks in Japan the show got REALLY dumbed down to the point that it became one of the most hated Sentai shows in Japan. Any truth to that?

Well, from what I've read, Ohranger started out as a serious show and ratings were already low to begin with. The Sarin Gas Attacks only made matters worse, so Toei decided to make the show more light-hearted.

There are conflicting facts around the show. While it's been said to generate some of the lowest viewer ratings, it accounted for the highest toy sales among all tokusatsu lines in the 1990s. Plus, there had been long rumors of Tamao Sato disowning her role in the show, claiming it destroyed her career. Her late appearance in Gekisou Sentai Carranger vs. Ohranger was supposedly a result of some backstage politics. Some polls among women have shown that she is the least popular celebrity in Japan. However, given her recent guest appearance in Gokaiger, it seems that Tamao has brought closure to her complicated history with Super Sentai.

I don't have a worst sentai. I like them all for different reasons. If I had to pick my least favorite, even though I still enjoy it, it would have to be Boukenger.

goonger / rpm is worst sentai

Just so we are clear, Goonger and RPM are nothing alike. You really can't lump them together as "worst sentai". It doesn't quite work that way.

Sure if you ignore the awesomeness that were the questers and the character development with Boukenblack and Yellow then yeah nothing happend at all. I'll admit I found Boukenger boring but the questers really saved the series for me.

I don't really have a worst Sentai team. I like all of the ones I've seen in their own, special ways.

Go-Onger. Friggin-A man, that show was just bad. It had character you didn't care about, enemies that were pretty useless, and horrible humor. I suffered to just after the Go-On Wings were introduced, and quit quickly thereafter cuz of how boring they seemed. There are a couple of shows I have quit watching at some point or another, but Go-onger is the one I will probably never come back to.

I've enjoyed all the Sentai series I've seen so far which is from Dekaranger to Gokaiger. I can't really call it worst, but Goseiger is my least favorite. Boukenger is at the bottom of my list too. I REALLY REALLY want to see Abaranger and Hurricanger, but I can't find them complete with subs and decent quality.

Well, Gorenger made me loose interest quick, but I got to 20 episodes when I watched it. Those Pre-90's seasons can't seem to interest me.

I hate to jump on the bandwagon, but Goseiger. Even though I don't care for Gaoranger, it's just a boring series and never made me angry. Goseiger just pissed me off. And keep in mind, I *like* Abaranger and Go-Onger, so that says something...

Gekisou Sentai Carranger. I stopped watching SS shows for quite a while because of that series. I absolutely loved Chōriki Sentai Ohranger until they started to lighten it's tone. Despite that, I still enjoyed the series quite a bit and it's still in my top 10 SS shows.

I've only seen bits of Shinkenger and through episode 23 of Kyoryuger.

Should I count myself lucky?

I'm also kicking around an idea for a Video Game themed Sentai, where each ranger personifies a genre. May have Blue Starscream Red depending on how things happen. One idea right now is them being able to summon characters from franchises under their genre. It seems to me that my idea can either be epic win or fail.

It is a tie between Go-Buster and Goseiger. Both are extremely boring and bland to watch.

What's with all the Goseiger hate? Saying Goseiger was bad is just plain wrong, because it wasn't. True, the first half of the show isn't quite a masterpiece, but once the story unfolds, it was actually really good.
And wtf, Goseiger had flad characters? What about Gaoranger, Dekranger, Boukenger, Go-Onger...? Many Sentai have extremely flat characters, but Goseiger doesn't.

To me, the worst one so far is Boukenger. Akashi is the most unlikeable Red I've ever seen, Blue and Pink have almost no character development (as if they forgot about them), there is no actual plot (except for the background stories of Black, Yellow and Silver) and the villains are pretty boring. Also, the finale was the least touching I've ever seen. They fought like in every episode, no epic roll call, no dark sky, no rain, no NOTHING to make this epic.

I haven't watched enough Sentai to say any of them is my worst but I have no interest in Goseiger after the first episode.

Out of the shows I've finished, and tried, my least favourite is Dairanger.

Dairanger isn't bad...exactly, but people act like Dairanger is the second coming when in reality there is barely any characterisation, the pacing is abysmal and the plotting is terrible. It has great fight scenes, the Ranger powers and stuff are cool and everything but with the way sentai was introduced to me, I didn't expect it to tell a worse story, and have worse characters than your average Neo Saban series.

I thought Dairanger had some good characters, mostly Daigo and Kou. The pacing wasn't great but the ending was the worst.

Ahhhh, don't scare me x,D I wanted to watch this one after I finished Den-O....

I don't know any Sentai I hate. Usually I just stop watching when it gets boring so I can't form a fair assessment. I do love all the ones I've finished, though.
