Godzilla 2014 - First Image Of Godzilla, Poster And Concept Art
 

The official Godzilla 2014 Movie Twitter account has tweeted the 1st poster for the movie! Shown are helicopters approaching Godzilla's humongous tale! In addition, skreeonk has posted the 1st image of concept art from the film, which looks pretty epic!

So we've seen the tail, we've seen Godzilla submerged underwater, now how about Godzilla himself? Collider has posted what FilmSchoolRejects says are new photos of Legendary's Godzilla! Read on to check out the new images.

Damn, he looks awesome. So much better then that joke of the first American Godzilla.

Dang, Ive actually never seen anything from Godzilla before, so Im sure this will be a great way for me to get into it :D

I actually kind of like this as an updated look. Maybe because I was expecting it to be pretty bad.

But that almost look like two different heads... which one is final?

No idea man. I saw another image but that head looked different too, so I guess we'll see in a few days.

I'm glad they are outright showing you what he looks like this time and not trying to keep it a secret like the 98 movie did. All the marketing would show you back then was his foot or tail.

After watching Pacific Rim tonight I'm really excited for this new Godzilla movie. He looks faithful to his look for the most part and it sounds like there'll be lots of monster on monster action this time around. No stupid military chasing him all over New York or laying a bunch of baby raptors...er, I mean Godzilla in Madison Square Garden.

Oh yeah! Looking forward to the new movie too! I hope there will be Kaiju battles - the more the merrier!!! :)

Goji looks fantastic. I love the bulk, the spines, the teeth. He looks like something which crawled from the primordial slime to level the world of man. Sweet Christmas I cannot wait for this movie.

He reminds me a little bit of the design from the failed first American version from the 80's, which was going to have been in 3D.

i thought it looked like the cross of the failed 90's one and the orginal mainly in the jaw

Chunk-zilla is fine with me. It looks more natural for some reason. But for a creature that size I've always wondered how much it would have to eat. Now that's a lot of fish.

Very monstrous, very awesome.

Hopefully we won't see the real Godzilla kick this one's ass in six years like the last Zilla we got.

I love the design. Looks like a good update that still looks like how Godzilla should look, unlike the 90's version.

I hope the special effects are up to par, the 90's movie is rather dated these days.

I really do like it. The "chunk" doesn't bother me at all. He looks quite monstrous.

Godzilla's gained a lot of weight since Final Wars. At least he's more like the original instead of the crappy 1998 Godzilla. So it's ok by me.

Zilla looks like Zilla again. He may have a BIG ass, but he still actually looks like Godzilla.

He looks chunkier sure but I think that chunk is closer to the original Toho version at least.

The chunkiness works, he is supposed to be an unstoppable force of nature after all.

I do like how bulky they made him. It makes him look a bit more brutish and reptilian. Kinda like a giant bipedal komodo dragon.

If your a Godzilla fan your saying its about time... I am, and I'm not. Kinda sad its another American project, but looks to be sticking with its roots. Maybe this will spawn another Japan film.

Just FYI: Zilla is the official name of the '98 Amerigoji. In Final Wars, he is called "Jira" in Japanese, and this is translated in the US dub as "Zilla," and that is Toho's preferred English name for him. In fact, Zilla is going to be showing up shortly in the IDW Godzilla comic!

Well we are getting close to the date they said they'd start up new Godzilla films in Japan again, aren't we? I know they put him on a temporary hiatus after Final Wars.

Since this info isn't spreading it seems, those are NOT Godzilla's final designs. The head bust is not even close to the final look, and the full-body model is unfinished, but is a good enough idea of what he'll look like. The legs specifically are not done. (which is why his feet look kinda weird)

I think they over compensated for people sayign he was too skinny in the last one.

He looks very neat but also like he needs the husky sizes, think we could shop at the same stores.
