Ultimate Megazord Tournament: Division 1- Main, Round 1
Hello everybody and welcome to the battle that shall decide who the ultimate Megazord is! A revived version of WhiteRanger's preivious MZ battles that had themed fights. But! This will be a battle much like SwitchBlade's Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament that ended yesterday. This Tournament however will have 6 divisions-
1- Main mecha (used by core team and most used of the series): ? 2- 6th mecha (used by "6th" ranger of the series): ? 3- Secondary (used by core team later in the series, mostly after they receive power ups): ? 4- Carrier (the biggest of the mecha and core of the series ultrazord): ? 5- Other (all other mecha/ mini robos/ what have you that dont qualify for other divisions): ? 6- Final (final combination/ clusterf*ck megazord of the series): ? So that means every mecha from every series of Power Rangers starting from Mighty Morphin' to Megaforce. Though since Jolly Roger Mega- I mean Legacy Megazord has been announced, it is also in the Main division. So without any further disscussion, Megazord Battle Ready? GO!!! (Click links on names of Megazords for info on them!) Round 1: Thundersaurus Megazord (Dino Thunder) http://imageshack.com/scaled/large/826/b2k8.jpg VS. Lightspeed Megazord (Lightspeed Rescue) http://imageshack.com/scaled/large/835/57yl.jpg NOTE: Any and all Megazords that have arm/power swapping auxilary zords can use them, but they CANNOT combine with other megazords! Second NOTE: Voting will end in 24 hours at 7:00pm CST. |
Went for Dino Thunder's Megazord, I remember next to nothing about the Lightspeed Megazord and Dino Thunder's was a fun throwback, whether intended to be or not.
|
Thundersaurus, nothing against Lightspeed but it's simply outmatched here. Thundersarous is quick, agile and has a GIANT FUCKING DRILL FOR AN ARM!

Hm... Dino Thunder was my first Power Rangers series. I am going with the Thundersaurus Megazord

The thundersaurus megazord will be the drill to pierce the heavens!

Im going for the Thundersaurus, Lightspeed is pretty col design, and with Carter piloting, it would be cool. But Dino Thunder had a lot of extra arm combos they could do. |
Thundersaurus Megazord.
Drills, Dinosaurs, and a Japanese movie retool that upped the awesome by being "cool." Icy... |
Since they are allowed to use auxiliary zords. That gives the Thundersaurus the advantage here.
|
Thunder. The Lightspeed couldn't take it down without having to call on Ryan.

The "if" confused me there. Quote:

I meant it as they can use back up smaller powerups but they get to much power and could easily wipe the floor with their opponent if they could combine. |

Lightspeed. It's just cool. Simple and retro but modern and an awesome combination. The Thundersaurus is... okay, but it's busy, and the Triceratops is just stuck on as an arm and the Ptera has no structural significance. In fact, all it's combinations are weaksaunce. The Lightspeed Megazord is an awesome combination where every part is integrated into the robot. Plus, it's just heavily armoured and gun-nuts.
But since it is incredibly unfair and cheap that they use the useless extra zords, Thundersaurus wins, but that's just wrong that it gets all the lame "I'm an arm because I'm attached at the shoulder. Don't believe me? Well Wild Force did it! Wait, Wild Force had them actually transform into limbs? Can't here you, too many arms!" |
This seems like a fun idea. I feel most of the early mechs will get beaten down by the later mechs with all the upgrades they got.
|
Thundersaurus, as useless as the Yellow ranger zord was the megazord is still awesome.

Went with Lightspeed. I've always thought it was a cool but underrated Megazord.
|
I love thundersaurus megazord
|
Maybe you should rethink the aux-zord aspect. I can't see anymore Megazord without limb-swapping winning this thing.
|
And I dont see Lightspeed making a 15 vote comeback in the next 15 minutes.
Final score as of this post 30-15 Thundersaurus moves on to the Quarter-finals! Stay tuned for Round 2 up in a few minutes. Hint: Chinese animals vs. Talking cars. |
