Megaforce or Samurai?
 

It's been enough episodes now I think we can form an opinion on this. Samurai or Megaforce, Megaforce or Samurai? Which one has done a better job do we think?

Personally, I think Megaforce. The show has flaws but it's reaching it's stride quicker than Samurai. It took Jayden a full season to lose that bowl cut, remember :lol

When Megaforce most of the votes, Samurai must be bad. Seriously.

Samurai has Dayu, Shinken-Oh, Mike and Antonio... Megaforce has Gia. That's it.

Hands down Megaforce.

This is kinda like comparing a Burger King burger to a Mcdonalds burger. They are both burgers but i'd rather have Red Robin ( RR being In Space , RPM etc )

That said , i prefer Megaforce

It's like comparing Tennant to Smith, when what we really want is Tom Baker. :p

I think it's like comparing two bad things, and saying you'd rather have a good thing. I think.

So, in the end, between Samurai and Megaforce, the winner is Red Robin.

I'm starting to think that I'm the only person on the planet that enjoyed Samurai. :o

Megaforce.

I personally found Samurai unwatchable. Just doing Shinkenger again, whitewashing it and filling it with terrible actors does not make for a good show. I have heard that some people have gone back and watched Samurai and appreciated Shinkenger done with the tone and morals of Power Rangers but I've never bothered trying again.

Megaforce, is if nothing else, watchable. In many regards Megaforce is actually far worse. Shinkenger at least had a plot, and character arcs, and Samurai took those as well which means it did actually have characters and a story, things Megaforce does not. All Megaforce basically is is a dubbed load of sentai footage, and one American scene as the credits roll. But I can't just go watch Megaforce again done by better actors, like I can Samurai, which edges it out of the gate just a fraction.

Samurai since I still haven't seen Megaforce. Still don't plan on watching it either.

Megaforce has references to past seasons, Gia, Emma, Gosei Great, Gosei Grand, Gosei Ultimate, and Gosei Jet. Samurai only has Emily and Antonio, that's it.

Its a hard choice, but I'm going with Samurai.

Sure, it was a heavily watered down Shinkenger with extra bad acting, but it was still much better then Megaforce, with its even worse acting, lack of any personality and bland excuse for a plot.

Maybe it helps that I saw Samurai before Shinkenger and was unaware that it was mostly a watered down copy, but Samurai at least had a plot and the characters felt like characters, which is more then I can say about everyone on Megaforce bar Jake.
