Rumor: Kyoryu Silver's Identity Revealed?
 

At the moment this rumor is unconfirmed but it would appear we may know the identity of Kyoryu Silver from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger! As always with a rumor of this nature, take it with a grain of salt as it is still unconfirmed.

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

According to rumors posted by Shiruba of Rangerboard, Kyoryusilver will indeed be Daigo's father Dantetsu Kiryu! However the shocking twist is that Daigo's father is also apparently the son of Torin! Thus making Daigo Torin's grandson, explaining his superhuman abilities and overwhelming bravery.

The story will take place around episode 36 and detail what happened during Torin's time on Earth long ago when he fell in love with a human woman who later gave birth to his son Dantetsu. Yayoi has also been developing new technology which allows Torin to transform into Silver's Giga Gaburevolver, explaining why it matches his color shceme!

Actually i called it as well a few months back. I had never made the father son connection but 100% called the gun being the way it was and that Daigos father would be Silver.

How many Rangers does this show have now?

Bleh. Daigo's dad has been nothing but uninteresting every time he's showed up. I guess it was inevitable he'd have a bigger role but having him be Silver and Torin who's been around the whole time reduced to a repainted gun is overwhelmingly disappointing.

Just another knock against Kyoryuger as far as I'm concerned.

Dang it! I was really hoping Torin would be Silver but Oh well, just makes me want that GigaRevolver more, espicially if its with Torins voice.

I actually think I like this better than Torin just straight up being Silver. Its a twist and a half. It gives Dantetsu a reason to exist other than just being a badass on occassion. It explains the mystery of his past much better.

Maybe that means Torin will be the new Deathryuger?

If he is Torin's Son, and Daigo is his Grandson, that means DeBoss can mate with Humans. Which means... I HAVE A SHOT WITH LADY CANDELIRA! MY HEART SHE SWELLS!

That means Nossan in the show could end up with Candy.... You sure you arent writing this series?

Well, that bit of news caught me offguard.

Still it's just a rumor at this point. I do also wish to call out foul on Torin being reduced to just a fancy gun. As Mr. McDuffie used to say "wait and see".

A song and dance/battery-powered dinosaur themed Sentai series.... And you draw the line there? I thought the whole point in watching this stuff was taking the lame and the awesome together and then buying the merchandise. You speak of heresy. The part that is unjustifiably stupid is the fact we even watch this stuff. I love it but that doesn't mean it's not a Japanese kid's show.

You can have fun with silly and dumb concepts, and outside of Daigo shoving his fat ass into every scene, I have been. I could sit up and post about every little stupid plot advancement and scene, but I don't because the series is primarily meant for fun and I know that.

But that doesn't mean I don't have a breaking point. And it so happens to be Torin turning into a gun for Daigo's dad to transform.

I transform into a spew cannon when given enough liquor, but I don't seem to be called upon by the Kyoryugers every time they get into trouble. Besides, I would really hate to see which end shoots. Ruined cars everywhere.

So this would make Daigo the 'Hercules' of the universe. Yep. I don't want to even think of how Saban would destroy this for the US audience.

If this is true then holy crap that sounds awesome, I always thought Torin or Daigo's dad were going to be Kyoryu Silver but that does sound awesome and kind of cool turn out with Torin, and Daigo and his father.

I always assumed either Dantetsu or Torin would be Silver but back in July I posted:
