S.H. MonsterArts Final Wars Gigan Revealed
 

Bluefin Tamashii Nations have uploaded a new image to their Facebook account confirming a brand new SH MonsterArts figure - Gigan from the 2004 film Godzilla: Final Wars!

I like that we are getting a Gigan, but I would have much prefered a Showa Gigan.

Still, he is pretty impressive looking!

Opening up the Final Wars line has a lot of potential. It was inevitable. Bring on Keizer Ghidorah!

Gigan looks great but man that thing is going to HURT me if I hold it the wrong way.

That looks amazing, but I still need Godzilla 94, Godzilla 64, Destoroyah, Moguera, Kiryu, maybe King Kong, and at least 2 more Detolfs (hopefully Biollante can actually fit in one, but then, I'll probably never end up getting her) before I even think about Gigan.

I love Showa monsters, don't get me wrong, but I'm just gonna be honest.
It wasn't until the Millennium redesign that interested me in Gigan.

The only reason I haven't started collecting MonsterArts is because of their higher than average price point for [X]-Arts figures (And I'm saving for the possible Mothra. Knowing my luck, Mothra will be released in a 3 pack with her larvae and cocoon form and go for double the average price :lol), but Gigan (And Kiryu/MechaGodzilla 3, who I'm also trying to scrounge up for) might change that :lol

He looks great but I've never really liked Gigan. Hopefully Megalon isn't too far away! He was always my favourite in the Godzilla games (why isn't there another one yet?) and he just has a great design.

Gigan looks so sexy here. Definitely have to pick him up.

Mothra was at the event too. I'd dig up the pic but I have no idea where I saw it on twitter earlier :lol

The detail on Battra alone is just amazing.

They announced Battra quite a while back. I think the Bluefin release is in like February even?

You speak as if I clearly and obviously didn't miss it/forget about it :lolol

He looks great, I think I'll wait for chainsaws though. Or maybe they'll sell a separate pack to turn him into chainsaw Gigan.

Mothra's actually been seen a couple times now, and is a March 2014 release.

EDIT: April. I forgot about the alteration to the schedule due to the Alien and Wolf Predator.

Ooooooor the chainsaws will be included? Harder to hope for that much these days, but not impossible, Gigan's changes between forms are narrower than the two Kiryus.

After NYCC, that's a given. Its timeliness to the movie release is less certain.

GIGAN. I'M READY FOR YOU.

I keep meaning to order Battra, but I will buy as many Gigans as Bandai choose to make.

Glad to know Battra appears to be coming with a stand, from that pic. I thought there was a good chance it would, but after the Destoroyah Evolution set, I wasn't as sure.
