Thanks for the share! They are pretty muscle-bound, aren't they? More so even than the old 5" figures like RPM and Jungle Fury.

I would've got these had they stuck to 4-inch, because I have the 4-inch MMPR, Samurai and Megaforce in package, but they've lost a customer by changing the sizing. I don't really understand it.

I guess they're going back to the old size. There was an uproar in the downsizing of the MMPR-remastered figures too.

Really? That's interesting, I'm probably the only one who prefers the old then!

Eh though, I only get the 4" because they look pretty in package and after 100% MMPR and Samurai, I only got 6 Megaforce so its only natural I stop now. Figuarts basically eclipsed my need for them.

These figures feature more articulation, with their shoulders being of the casted ball joint variety. There's no mid-arm swivel found in the Armored Might series, but they can still strike a pretty pose.

EDIT: It's not a ball joint it's the ... I can't think of it, but the shoulders are the plastic cast pin-swivel that allows a full 360 motion up and down, as well as raising the arms up horizontally.

As usual, the male rangers look like they're on a heavy steroïd diet. The girls are nice, i'll get them since the figuarts are too expensive for my wallet.

The Figuarts don't necessarily fit everyone's taste anyway. While accurate, I find my GokaiRed Figuarts to be less fun for fiddling and messing around with.

Girls are a little ... skinny on the waist. I mean hardcore skinny.

True, but figuarts are not really "toys", more like display items for adult collectors.
Most of the times, the PR figures are place holders in my collection.

raz - do you recommend these figures? I mean, are they worth the $12.99 or whatever they cost?

They are $7.99 at Target, $8.97 at Walmart and $9.99 at TRU.

And yes, I do. He isn't missing many details, if any. The main drawback is the jacket restriction on the legs. They have the same articulation as the Megaforce figures.

I just love them so far just for mimicking Gokaiger stuff. However, the articulation does get in the way, but it ends up being a lot of stuff that was present with Megaforce figures, so it can be let go.

I wonder if they plan to release them in metallic color.

What's the accessory loadout like?

I will buy the figures when the wave hits Wal-Mart.

Going by the pics in the gallery posted in the OP, it looks like just a black unpainted gun and blade.

is the Gokaiger symbol on the collar like in the show?

Do they come with there ranger keys?

I swear the boobs on these figures are getting more and more pronounced each year. It's one thing when the toys are based on a comic book or cartoon where the characters are already designed that way but when they're based on real-life actresses it's a little weird.

I'm not complaining though. Just amused.

I prefer the 4 inch scale but I'll probably end up picking these guys up.

That's the Budget line Gold Mode armor from Gokaiger, most bought it to use with SHF Silver. It had Gokai Silver basic figure with this and the anchor. I think he is just showin how SMF Red lookd with it.

Agreed on both points. It's hilarious that the male rangers have proper proportions now, but the female rangers are over-exaggerated.

Ugh...I was kinda hoping it wouldn't be too bad a difference, but holy crap...they aren't even close. That looks like a small 4" and a large 5".

I went around to several stores today because the zord armor rangers and the red figure I had had paint issues.

Finding the stores with them is simple. Call a store, go up to customer service or stop an employee with a scanner and ask them to look up the DPCI numbers:

Zord Armor Rangers: 087-06-2652

5" Figures: 087-06-2656

If it isn't on the shelf, then you are left with getting it out of the back. Most employees will be concerned with it having a possible street date. The boxes all say "For 1/5 transition," basically for the Spring reset that is happening at Target right now. I was told by a manager that it was supposed to happen last week and it was pushed back. Even though the boxes say 1/5, they are allowed to sell the items. They are just sent for the reset.

Several times, the DPCI's have come up with either an amount in stock and no location in the back, or not coming up at all. The scanners at some stores were not showing a location in the back, which they normally do. I found that the registers when looking up the DPCI will actually show the proper location in the back. So, you have to go to a register sometimes.

Other times, the DPCI wouldn't come up in the scanner or in the register, so I had to just use the UPC's of one of the items:

Another time, it came up at a store in stock, but the manager said it was arriving on the truck that night, and was showing in the inventory already.

One of my Targets has the Super Megaforce Basic Gear, 5" figures, 6.5" figures, key multi packs, SFX figures and zord armor ranger/mech suit tags set up already. There were 4 pegs for the Key Multi Packs. Now I'm wondering when they'll come.

Gonna pass on these, at 4 inch scale I would have picked them up but as is I have no use for them. Shame too since I just started getting back into Power Rangers when my son started watching. A little off topic though, does anyone know any other 4 inch scale figures from other lines like Kamen Riders etc....?

Picked up Green and Yellow over the weekend since they were my favorite Gokaigers, and in person the female mold is even worse than it looks in these photos. Seriously, they look like the way girls are depicted in Onepiece.

I'm a guy but if I were a girl who were into Power Rangers I don't know if these figures would amuse me or upset me.
