Power Rangers Super Megaforce Lost Galaxy Cycle Gallery
33 Attachment(s)
Go, Galactic!
More Power Rangers Super Megaforce toys are making their way slowly but surely to retail. The latest of these figures is the Lost Galaxy Cycle with Red Ranger Key! This vehicle is inspired by the original bike itself from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. The original Lost Galaxy Astro Cycle featured some removable armor components that could attach to an included Red Ranger figure. The Super Megaforce verion is a bit more simplistic. The bike mysteriously features a removable head. The lion's head pops right off on a couple tabs but it can't be combined with any other Zords in any discernible way. My guess would be that all of the Cycles feature swappable heads but that's about it. The Lost Galaxy Cycle shares some minor design cues with the original and even though that's the vehicle it's based on, that's where the similarities end. Included with this release are a Red Lost Galaxy ranger Key and a Super Mega Red Ranger mini-figure. The mini-figure is posed in the permanent cycle riding stance seen here, so it can't do too much on it's own. The Cycle features an interactive Ranger Key gimmick like all the other Zords & Vehicles as well. In this case you pull back the bike on it's rear wheels which builds up tension. Insert the Ranger Key, turn it to the right, and the bike launches forward on the built up tension. It's actually pretty fun and creative and adds some needed play value to the set. Unfortunately the combined modes with this vehicle leave a bit to be desired. Intended to be used in conjunction with either the Time Force Cycle or Lightspeed Rescue Cycle, this one won't do you much good when used as a leg. Because there are no moving parts in the cycle it can't become a standard leg. So without two of them, the leg combo is a no go. As an arm you get one big lanky appendage. This is less of a deal breaker though as it can still be used individually. The look works better with a pair of the cycles. As with Mystic Dragon, Delta Runner, and Zeo Racer, no name is given for the combinations created when using the various Legendary Cycles. |
That one picture of GokaiRed looks so wrong... So wrong! But I like it. Get two of the cycles and you'd have an awesome Centaur mode.
|
Looks good! I might get this one if I can find the other super Mega stuff :lol
Great gallery Den-O! |
The first picture is my most favorite picture of anything you've ever taken.
Second on the list would be all three of the bike's rider. I haven't lol'd at a gallery picture in a long, long time. |

Can the lion head mount on the Megazord's head?
Dammit, I was close to not getting the cycles, then you showed how they look and that you can add them to the Megazord anyways. Can you put it on the arm but not the socket so he's got a chopper attachment? |

You can attach the bike that way but because that port is in a pretty odd spot it won't make for much of an arm :lol |
Now that I think of it, because of the bikes and the Zeo Punchmobile we have more seasons being represented in PRSMF then Gokiger Zord wise
|
I think I rememberin seein where the removeable pieces could be used in the hands of the figures? Raz mightve posted it on twitter weeks ago. If Im rememberin correctly.
|
Maybe? But I don't own any of the figures outside the little ones the vehicles come with.

I am so in love with this gimmick. |
Not really interested in this one, but I am sorta interested in the Lightspeed Rescue bike. How much are these things going for?
|
Ah, the obligitory "super-hero on a motorcycle" toy. I wondered when it would show up.
The lack of paint apps on this thing really bugs me. Almost looks more like a mini pla kit before stickers. |
Looks interesting, I was curious about getting them for the gorilla arms, And on the origional amazon listing from a few months ago, it claimed that the fronts could be removed and could interact with the figures. No idea how, but that's what it claimed.
Also glad to see the old bike getting some use aside from sitting in a box in a closet. |
Wait... Den-O, have you tried attaching the Lion head to the hands from the Zeo Racer?
|
The image on the back looks amazing! I hope to see more artwork like this because I remember the Samurai Tiger Tank boxart looking astounding.

I like the key gimmick but the combined modes look real dumb. Great work as usual Den-O

Time to break out the dremel... Wait, I don't have a dremel. Crap. |

I like the key gimmick. Pull back racing toys have always been fun, and being able to trigger when they go off is nice.

*sigh* Well, I'll probably wind up grabbing at least one of these anyway if only for the keys. |
Shame its not that great, but I guess they can't all be a Zeo Racer.
Might pick this up one day just to attempt giving it some better paint apps though. Or to be more specifically, paint apps to begin with :lol |

It's just sad. |

Even the figure with the Disc Cycle had more detail. |
It looks ok
|
The gallery looks great as usual but the bike looks meh with the lack of paint apps.
|
These look like a waste of crap. And the bikes, they could use more paint. But they are for the kiddies so they wont care.
