Motifs you wanna see next for KR
 

After Gaim is finished someday, what new motifs would you all want to see?

Angels, Vegetables (They could totally do something Plants vs Zombies lol), Candy, More Animals or something like it like Ryuki or OOO, Something futuristic, Dinosaurs, Ninjas, Zombies, Werewolves, Martial Arts, Planets, or Spies, and that's all what's right on top of my head.

Any of those would work for me.

Yes. Because I need to see a Kamen Rider Angel, Tensou Sentai Goseiger, movie very badly.

Well here's a list of motif ideas I have in mind. Tell me what you think?

- Monster motif again. Something different from Kiva. (Darkstalkers style)
- Demons & Angels (Devil May Cry style)
- Dinosaurs & Extinct Creatures - Tarzan + Hulk combination
- Racing (Cars & Vehicles)
- Cooking (Iron Chef style)
- Martial Arts
- Ninja rider (Rurouni Kenshin & Ninja Gaiden style)
- Cowboy rider (Darksiders style - four horsemen of the apocalypse)
- Bird rider - Combination of Guardians of Ga'hoole (birds) & Silverwing (bat)

Honestly? What I want most is another Insect Rider. It's been to long since we've had one, and we need another.

Well I would love to see a series with the Riders based on Greek gods the transition to Roman, but have them at war with themselves and create alternate or halves of themselves as well as have maybe Egyptian gods in there as well, would be cool to see what they would do with Ra and Anubis and Zues/Jupiter with that.

I'd sort of like an apocalyptic like show. Combine elements of Ryuki with Gransazers and Battle Royale/Hunger Games and I think you could have an interesting show.

I really want another Bestial rider, like Amazon, but I don't think that will ever happen, my other choice would be Riders based on Horror icons, for instance a Werewolf, a Mummy, Frankenstein's Monster, and so on,

(Perhaps they could be mentored by a groovy blue ghost with a chin to make Jay Leno jealous...)

I think a fossil themed season could be really cool, using different fossils as the collectible gimmick/for form changes/upgrades/etc.

I'd also like a medieval themed season, but like...not taking place in modern times. When I first heard of Blade it just seemed to me like it'd have been so cool if it actually took place in medieval times.

That would be totally awesome.

I'm all up for a show like Kiva that actually has stuff worth watching outside of the fights!

Perhaps a demigod mythology rider?

- Greek/Roman Mythology demigod
- Egyptian Mythology demigod
&
- Norse Mythology demigod

I know it's pretty stupid, but I'd love a medieval/Assassin/Templer theme. I was easily able to see Wizard with the removal of the four lower squares on his chest armor as a red cross, making him a Templar Rider. I always kinda wondered what an Assassin Rider would look like.

Just go back to the damned insect based riders already, we've strolled away from that for a long time & insects were the original Kamen Riders lest we forget.

While I enjoy the insect motif, and it is a classic, why does it being the original actually matter? There's nothing wrong with doing something different, especially because, more often than not, they still try and incorporate aspects of that into the designs, be it the bug eyes or antenna and the like.

Why is no one pleading for more cyborgs? That was part of the original, too...

I don't even know what's left for insects as a motif.

I mean, there's the Showa era in its entirety, Kuuga, parts of Faiz, Blade and Kabuto.

I saw somebody suggest Riders based on different types of science such as biology, chemistry, physics, etc., I think that'd be pretty interest to see.

What about different fantasy creatures? Like goblins, orcs, dragons, fairy, elves, etc.,?

I know Wizard did it but I want to see an Elemental motif, but this time have it with multiple Riders and more elements/variations on the main 4. You could add Ice and separate Rock and Earth.

Now that Gaim has proved that you can have a silly/fun motif while still having a serious story. I would like to see something as fun as fruits/samurai.
Also I always wanted a KR series based on fighter jets , aside from Skyrider/Fourze I don't think many KRs could fly and stuff.Although i imagine it could be too CGI heavy and expensive.

Technically, Wizard was a magic motif. The Elemental thing was just gimmick, if I'm right about that. But I see what you mean.

I personally could stand something a bit more serious on the side of power sets. The whole fruit motif with Gaim takes a bit to get over, despite how good the action is.

What is more serious than knights and samurai and warriors from history with modern tech?

How about riders in the motif of vehicles & animals? The aerial type.

Like Storm Hawks, Guardians of Ga'Hoole & Silverwing.

Even Yu-Gi-Oh's Mecha Phantom Beast archetype.

It can be like the next Skyrider.

Watching In Space kinda makes me wish we'd see a wider Kamen Rider universe. I know Decade travelled to all sorts of different dimensions and whatever the fuck happened there, but there is just something really awesome about knowing that somewhere out there another fight is going on.

It doesn't even necessarily have to be across space, it could just be a Rider's battle on another continent that was happening across the timeline of another, or several, series. Just to create a sense of a wider universe in play.

See, watching Time Force and Lockes post makes me want there to be Riders from the past and here's why.


I want a motif that begins with 13 riders who each would represent the Greek Olympian gods. Then as history flows Rome practically adopts the Greek religion and rewrites it a little and we get the Roman gods.

Now the way it could be adopted is the 13 riders first adopt powers from the more minor gods and half way they get the Olympian form.

Now as for the Roman counterpart, on the other side of Japan, the Roman Riders could be doing the same thing basically.

Then half way through the series they meet up and get into a huge war, where a good portion of the minor powers are lost/deystroyed.

Next they relize that they have to combine forces for a little bit of time to fight the Giant riders, who came after the titans, so the forts half is them fighting the titans.

Then the end of the series (the summer movie) could be the riders fighting Gaea in a huge war losing most of the riders in the process, but in the end they get a few allies like a Hercules rider, or demigod riders.

Can we have another monster motif again? Something that won't stink like Kiva?
