Power Rangers Dino Charge Character Descriptions, First Half.
 

Well, whilst scrolling through Facebook, stumbled across this, http://www.orendsrange.com/2014/04/p...character.html it's actually official cause, there's also a link to the Ranger Crew page for this, so looks like we have our first few Dino Charge Rangers. I'm surprised as to the fact that Dino Charge Grey isn't a spirit ranger, now the question is, does Kyoryu Cyan remain a spirit ranger. Post your thoughts guys.

No gender swapping this time? The casting info sounds decent and gives me hope that we could get another decent season. I hope we get something like SPD where the show did a good job on being original and faithful at the same time.

So it seems like we'll get nine of them in the first half.

How they'll explain Cyan will be fun.

Maybe Saban got Robert Baldwin which is why Kyoryu Cyan is not listed.

The character for blue sounds like something I will never enjoy :lol

Him being a cave man sounds random to me. I was hoping that the Blue Ranger would be the class clown and the big brother type of character.

I've got the feeling they've mixed up Blue and Cyan...

Lol "knight". CAVEMAN?! Hey, hey guys, I think that's Cyan...

Same for Gray and Black. Black being the cowboy and Green's brother would make more sense.

Although edgy "cool" guy fits Black well too. Green the fencing cowboy is just... And Grey the lassoing cowboy is also just... Like cavemen and British Knights are so nuts I can kinda get behind it, but the other ideas are just sorta stupid silly, not the good kind.

To be fair, I can see the lassoing working with Gray, since he his dinosaur has a ball and chain.
Granted, Gray never swung a mace around in the footage, so I don't know.

They seem to have cut out Cyan & Grey, the "Duplicate" colors.

Wonder if Navy will make an appearance...

Gray is in there. Cyan and Silver are the only ones missing. And Navy, but that's more understandable than the other two I guess.

Sounds good so far, as long as we get to see some good story elements and get some good actors things are looking up for 2015

This sounds interesting. I like the idea of 'Knight' but his and Green's characters are tough to translate to western audiences. Maybe change green a bit so that he grew up watching samurai and martial arts movies. That would make more sense.

I also think that they these sheets might have mixed up blue and cyan but we shall see.

What worries me the most are what we are going to get with the toys. I guess we will find out a Toy Fair next year.

Nothing I see tells me they are cutting any ranger, just that these are the ones they are casting now. Purple and Gray sound like allies that become rangers later, so they have to be casted up.

I'll remain skeptical but I like what I've been hearing so far. But after two seasons of almost exact replicas of their Sentai counterparts and two seasons of generic high school stereotypes with the occasional robot and alien this premise seems like a breath of fresh air.

It also sounds kind of bathshit insane.

The batshit insane part is definitely the part that has me the most excited - and the most terrified.

Well while originally o thought they got Cyan and Blue mixed up it would sorta make sense, and it would be cool to see Silver and Cyan and possibly Navy in Super Charge. Now with reading these bio's is it possible they will make original footage?

Now the toys are possibly a bit confusing, considering Cyan's zord, but only Morphicon' Comic con and toy fair will tell now.

What do you mean about Blue and Cyan getting mixed up? I've read that a lot in the threads, as in they're casting Cyan but not Blue? Why'd they do that? Or they watched Kyoryuger and forgot who Blue and who was Cyan? How'd they do that? I don't understand.

People think that the whole Caveman thing would fit Cyan better and assume that Saban mixed up their chracter information.

If Chase turns out to be the final name, I will not be a happy Wonderbird.

And I think the "Caveman" thing for Blue is based on KyoryuBlue's suit debut in the pilot and the Icy canyon that Stegochi pops out of.

But surely there is no way that is possible as there is only one blue on the page. They surely wouldn't cast a character with about four suited fight scenes before one of the core Rangers.

I've heard people say that the character of Blue has a lot traits of Cyan, but I thought blue had a sort of grappler style so they sort of shook that up and made him a caveman.

What I'm saying is I really want a caveman to be a regular cast member, so I hope he's not Cyan.

I dont see it either. So long as proven otherwise this is what the blue ranger is probably going to turn out.

As I´m not a big fan of the whole fish-out-of water joke I honestly hope that they are not going to dwell on that part of the character for more than five episodes or so. This is the sort of gag that gets annoying real fast.

I just hope it doesn't suck. Also as the mods & admins have pointed out, the descriptions might not match how the characters act in the show, & that these are character names, auditions aren't done with just yet, we gotta be patient & see what dinorific thing smacks our faces next year *oh fuck did I just say dinorific :lolol?!* :lol.

I honestly can't wait to see how this works out. Though I kinda hope that they cast an Asian actor for Lucas, since we don't have an Asian Red Ranger.

From what I've heard from the past two seasons (or past four, whatever) the character descriptions were pretty spot on but the names weren't. But who knows really. I'm personally hoping these descriptions are at least spot on. And that Ivan keeps his name.

With the name Ivan I always will expect him to speak with a thick russian accent :lol

Got loads of mates called Ivan me, it's the most common name in England right now. All the rage.

I am liking this upcoming season more & more.

I like the caveman thing. A caveman Ranger. hmmm.
The Pink Ranger in this season sounds some what like Mystic Force Pink Ranger.

I don't see Deathryuger listed. I guess he is getting cut out, or Saban is saving him for DSC? Gaburincho of Music takes place sometime after Episode 19 or 20. I was hoping that he would be used for a TV special.

I believe they're going to combine Blue and Cyan together. Possibly have Cyan truly be a "spirit Ranger" to guide Koda. Who knows. I like it though.

I feel that's the case too. But what will they do with the Cyan footage? Make it appear Obi-Wan style?
