According to the source, it will be small cars that you put into belts/bracers.
Apparently the leaker has been correct in the past.

I dunno, that sounds awfully similar to ToQger. Would Toei really have 2 near-identical gimmicks running at the same time?

I bet they would if the first show to use the gimmick was selling the toys very well. It could happen in all honestly. Toei sees that the Resshas sell like hotcakes and figure that they could have a Kamen Rider use the same gimmick hoping to repeat the success of the toys they have been using so far. It's smart from a business/sales point of view.

I doubt this is true and I'll be very disappointed if it is. Kamen Rider should stand separate from sentai not disappear into it.

Just think you'd get other KR as cars too so you'd have a Gaim-mobile, a W-driver, and Agitoy car, etc. :P I'd be all over that!!!!!!

Well maybe they think similar toys will help both series rather than having two different ones. I'm not sure but it sounds cool. As long as it's a belt to transform.

But then if the first thing starts off strong and then completely flatlines, they aren't going to have a whole lot of time to work out what went wrong and counter it. It doesn't make good business sense when you don't have the entire run of a gimmick to work/research off of.

Well, they did something close before, with Goseiger being the Sentai that came next after Decade finished. Though admittedly it wasn't at the exact same time, and cards are usually a pretty safe bet.

But I'll admit it at least sounds plausible, especially if they want to keep up the Rider/Sentai interaction they've got going. I could totally see them doing KR Drive Ressha and ToQGer (whatever the KR Drive gimmick is called).

Which is why each series only lasts a year.

I mean, even if this gimmick tanks, they're not ruined forever.

There's an idea. The Driver itself turns into a car.

If the gimmick is a car thing, it sounds nothing like Kamen Rider. That series, that franchise, has never been about the mechs ... I mean yes, we have had plenty of motorcycles, we've had Suika Arms in Gaim, the mech suit in Fourze, and the Den Liner in Den-O ... but it really, really feels like if this is true, the franchise is turning itself to be more mech-based this time around.

Not sure if I'm a fan of that honestly.

I like the idea. But then I love big-ass mecha :lol

Except not really. Faiz was stand alone concerning the Auto Vajin, and the WizarDragon and Power Dizer showed up so rarely that they hardly qualified.
So far, only Watermelon Arms has shown up on any consistent basis.

No. Because more than one mech existed, and in recent years we've had three. Four if you count Birth's weapons making that scorpion thing.

All they need now is John Moschita to sell the toys.

Especially if it's as gimmick driven, and terrible looking, as the mechs are in Gaim. At least Powerdizer was mostly well implemented, Suika, that stupid leg robot and the broomsticks are all shit.

Suika looks good, and I like the Sunflower hover-bikes. But I agree with you completely about Tulip Hopper. That thing just looks weird.

I liked Suika's introduction, but every moment after that has been really really naff in my opinion. And the broomsticks are a fine idea - look at Starwars - but the special effects used to achieve it...could eh...."use some work".

CG Armament in Kamen Rider has always been iffy. Look at Ixa's tank, Accel's tank, and Powrdizer.

Oh yeah of course, but like I say, it's about implementation. Powerdizer didn't look that great, but the role in the story and the use of the actors sold you on it in a way Gaim hasn't been able to with any of its machines.

And I'm not saying Powerdizer is like this great thing either but I just think overall in Heisei to Neo the Rider Machines have always been kinda awful and I really don't want another Skullboilder and Garry ever again.

I wouldn't mind another Auto Vaijin.

There was an actual suit for that though, which really helped. Tokusatsu robots work a lot better when they're human sized, and not scaled to cardboard buildings on soundstages.

I just hope we don't get a childish and campy season. Kamen Rider always has been known to be more darker and more serious compare to Super Sentai. Fourze was our last rider show that has been campy.

I definitely agree with that. I hope we do get another Robot suit like Auto Vajin too or a Rider who looked like something like Auto Vajin and Accel.

I will laugh if the belt says "Shift Into Turbo" when the belt is turn on.
