How do you think PR would have ended if CarRanger was the last Sentai?
 

Had CarRanger actually been the final Sentai series back in the 90s, how do you think Power Rangers Turbo would have ended? Do you think they would have given the series a conclusion or just left the final episode off like a normal episode?

I thank God that it wasn't and would prefer NOT to think about it!

If Sentai ended chances are Toei would have put more focus on Metal Heroes and made the newer shows with Sentai themes included.

I'm guessing either Saban would have canceled PR and made Beetleborgs*and new Metal Hero adaptions* his new cashcow or simply started adapting Metal Hero shows as Power Rangers.

I think if Saban had his way he'd go back to making episodes of MMPR.

But that would require having to make an entire show instead of using footage from another show.

And if they're too lazy to edit out form changes of rangers we've never had in the states, then they're probably too lazy to make an entire show devoid of Sentai footage.

Yet they add the Red Overdrive Ranger and the Green Zeoranger as form changes even though they arent supposed to be there. Oh and they did that completely original Lost Galaxy fight scene.

Why cant they be consistent with the stuff they do? :lol

Just like Valve and the number 3 they're like, "Consistency? What's that?" :lol

The show would have likely have a different plot and a different ending. Saban would have milked Beetleborgs a bit longer by using Kabutack footage. Also if Carranger was the last Sentai then Toei would have likely brought it back over a decade later similar what Toei did with Kamen Rider.

Honestly, I couldn't see that happening. Power Rangers' success was a fluke.

I don't think so. I could see S1's success as a fluke, but that'd mean that ratings and all that jazz would drop significantly later on during the other two seasons.

Simple. A Saban logo and a Fox Kids logo.

If Toei ended Super Sentai in 1996 and brought back a decade later similar what they did with Kuuga then I wonder what Disney would have done. Dinsey would still have bought Saban in 2001 and the PR series would still likely be under Saban's contract.

Yeah, but what I mean is that MMPR just happened to come out at the right time when there was nothing else like it on TV. It featured robot dinosaurs, super heroes, cool looking alien monsters, and was in live action. It was like UltraSeven and Super Inframan, but better. It came out after Jurassic Park ruled the summer and was something entirely new. Anything after (which is why I also think VR Troopers, Masked Rider, and Beetleborgs failed) was no longer new and felt like it was just trying to cash in on the MMPR success. MMPR caught everyone off guard. It also helps that there was no internet to ruin it for us back then.

It would've been disappointing. Turbo wasn't the best season ever. They could've ended Power Rangers in one of two places and I would've been alright with it. The end of In Space, and the end of Mystic Force.

Well to me power rangers ended in space. I liked turbo but I was also 7 or 8 at the time...
