After Toqger, what sentai theme would you do next?

Ancient Greek theme. Complete with Sphinx - yellow, Pegasus - black, Minotaur - Red, Griffin - blue, and Harpy - pink. The Minotaur's head would fold down to chest cavity to reveal the robot head. The Sphinx's body folds under the head to create the left arm, the Griffin would do the same for the right arm, however the wings will detach. The Pegasus (wings detached) would form the hip and connect to the belly of the Minotaur. The Harpy would fold her "human" legs and head into a cavity, remove the wings, split in two, and her giant talon arms will become the robot's legs. The three sets of wings will combine to form a six-winged backpack for the robot which clicks to the back of the Minotaur. The costumes would include a white and gold color scheme for each ranger, with the exception of each ranger having a robe around their chest starting from the right shoulder coming around the under left arm (not a toga). This robe represents their individual color as well as their helmets. And on each robe there would be a badge on the right breast that has an emblem of their mythical beast. The commanders of the team would be the 12 Olympian Gods, and the Rangers would be demigods. The show would be called 'Hellenic Sentai Olympian-Rangers."

I don't have the name but here's my idea.

How about a monster ranger team? To rival Kiva.

Green - Swamp Creature/Merman

Orange - Dullahan/Headless Horseman/Jack'o Lantern
Silver - Ghost/Wraith/Grim Reaper

I don't think we've used a knight, ghost, construction or underwater/aquatic themed series yet, have we?

I posted a sentai/power ranger adaptation of kamen rider wizard, if anyone wants to see it

I was going to suggest a Greek God theme too. However, my suggestion was having the Black Ranger represent Hades, the Sixth Ranger represent Hercules, and the mentor represent Zeus. The villain would be Tantalus, and the Bigger Bad would be Chronos.

Another idea is a detective theme called "Metenai Sentai Nazoranger." The villains would be a Yakuza/Mafia crime organization, and the Sixth Ranger would be a neutral Cat Burglar that would later join the team permanently.

My third idea is a chess themed season.
Red- The King.
Blue- The Bishop.
Black/Green- The Rook.
Yellow- The Pawn.
Pink- The Queen.
The Sixth Ranger- The Knight.

A computer themed season that is basically an homage to Tron. The Rangers fight monsters/viruses by entering a computer world. The viruses are being lead by a corrupt AI (much like Venjix from "RPM"). The Sixth Ranger would be a Trojan Horse virus that eventually let's the kindness of his comrades turn over permanently.

Finally, a military/war theme. The Mechs/Zords would be based on military vehicles.

As a running joke, I have Super Sentai Poweranger for the 40th series. All the rangers would have popular Japanese names for the time and the 6th ranger will be an American with a name like Gregory Johnson or something.

As an actual theme, Metal Sentai Rock-uger where all the rangers are different styles of Rock/Metal Music and they fight against a villain known only as The Man. It could have a villain naming theme a'la Goseiger/Jojo's Bizarre Adventure where they're named after some big name music acts.

Red: Heavy Metal
Blue: Speed Metal
Yellow: Power Metal
Black: Alt. Metal
Pink: Death Metal

6th Ranger: Nu Metal

I don't know much about Metal music, this was just a little idea a few friends of mine had a while back.

Boukenger was mostly construction vehicles.

Power Rangers Game Knights, just in Japan with a different name.

How about a steampunk theme?

we have steampunk villains this season

But I want steampunk heroes.

Boukengers mecha did consist of some construction vehicles but that wasn't what it's theme and design primarily focused on.

Jetman remake

I have a couple ideas that could be feasible in the future.

The first one would be based on the planets and the team would be called SolarRanger.

Core rangers:
SolarSilver - Mercury
SolarPink - Venus
Solar Red - Mars
SolarYellow - Saturn
SolarGreen - Uranus

6th Rangers:
SolarBlue - Neptune
SolarOuja (pun on the word Soldier) - Jupiter (Black with Gold armour, which can be used by other the other rangers)

Extra Hero:
Ceres Knight

The primary villains would call themselves 'The Discord Trinity' and are Sedna, Eris and Pluto, and around the finale, after being revived, would merge into 'The Nemesis' (named after a hypothetical star in science).


My second idea would be based on the twelve signs of Zodiac and in the end there would be twelve rangers. I haven't figured which sign is which colour, but it's a possibility.

Rekishi Sentai Jidaiger

A powerful demon from the near future is defeated and on the brink of being utterly destroyed. However, the demon, aided by the research of a young physicist held against her will, discovers a way to travel into the past. With this newfound weapon in his possession, the demon decides to jump millenia into the past with the remnants of his shattered army to ensure his victory in the future and subjugate humanity to his reign. The physicist, acting on her own free will, attempts to trap the demon and his armies in the time stream, but finds herself displaced as well, in the process warping the fabric of time itself.

In the current era, a young Japanese high school student with a love of Japanese history and virtually no friends, now finds himself saddled with a quartet of individuals displaced from their respective periods (where the Jidai in Jidaiger comes from....Rekishi stands for History). He realizes something is very wrong, but is the only one who notices.

However, though the physicist has prevented the demon and his armies from travelling back to the point in time where he could begin significantly altering the future, she, the demon, and his armies are now stuck in the current era, where the demon decides to begin his conquests once more. The physicist comes across the same high school student and his motley, newfound companions, and enlists them into becoming Rekishi Sentai Jidaiger....the defenders of history itself. They are all armed initially with Jidai pistols and Jidai daggers, before the physicist develops their own weapons, and feverishly develops their mecha when the the demon's minions gain the ability to grow into giants.

Jidai Red: The high school student who is thrust into the leadership of Rekishi Sentai Jidaiger merely by virtue of the fact that everyone is stuck in his time period. Despite his relatively upbeat, curious personality, doesn't have a whole lot of friends as he is obsessed with Japanese history and studied kendo and iaido his whole life. He wields the Jidai katana and pilots the Jidai eagle.

Jidai Green: A young police officer during the late Edo/early Meiji Restoration period. He is strict and patronizing, but only for his desire to do the right thing. He is an expert martial artist and wields the Jidai jitte and pilots the Jidai serpent.

Jidai Blue: The last kunoichi from her clan during the Sengoku period. Having lost nearly everyone around her, she is aloof, withdrawn, and cold around others and suffers from survivor's guilt. She wields the Jidai kisarigama and pilots the Jidai fox.

Jidai Pink: A priestess from a noble family of the Heian period. The youngest of her family, she has lived in a temple nearly her entire life. She is educated, refined, and polite, but extremely naive about the ways of the world. She wields the Jidai naginata and pilots the Jidai crane.

Jidai Yellow: A hunter-gatherer from the Jomon period. The strongest member of his clan, he is hot-blooded and impulsive and is accustomed to surviving by his wits. He is extremely powerful, wields the Jidai kanabo, and pilots the Jidai bear.

(6th Ranger) Jidai Black: A freedom fighter from the post-apocalyptic future who comes to aid the Jidaigers in order to prevent the terrible future he lives in, a result of the demon's victory in the past. Battle-hardened and cynical, he wields a laser sword that can combine with his own Jidai pistol to turn into an enormous pulse rifle. He also pilots the Jidai dragon, which is capable of flying and walking forms.

Together, the 5 core Jidai mecha combine to form Grand Jidai.
