New Riders, new attacks... and new memories resurfacing!

Wow I actually really really enjoyed Gou in this episode. I laughed my ass off everytime that guy was on screen this week.

Wait is the episode already out yet?

Well the episode aired a half hour ago so technically it is. Its just not available for download yet.

Ah, makes sense that does, can't wait for subs of this episode.

I knew the proto thing was coming but wow that music score on the last scene was intense! I wish they would release an OST soon :(

That was amazing! The suspense was killing me, and then the climax! Just wow. What an incredible episode. Then the teaser. Oh gosh please let the resolution be what I want. I love Chase.

Well turns out chase was protodrive,we all knew that. I liked this episode a lot because of the suspense and the mystery in it. I also just want to say the ride crosser is a very weird but boss vehicle. Plus gou made me laugh as he usually does

I get the feeling that Brain is dropping all pretense of Chase being an ally and is going to just use mind control on him while loving every minute of it. Thinking about that and Hearts passion for his comrades I'm thinking Proto-Drive's transformation broke during his fight with heart during the GF revealing him as Proto-Zero which to Heart would be like meeting Adam and/or Eve to a human where as Brain just sees Chase as a problem. Medic just seems to enjoy egging the others on doesn't she?

I can't wait for the next episode, I do hope better things happen for chase and unfortunately the next episode is not making it look great for what could happen to chase.

I think brain and heart will clash in the future, their personalities seem to go against each other

One is Passion while the other is logic, two forces that don't normally go well together. Could be interesting if they split up each helping roidmuds that fall in line with their personal ideals with Medic acting as a kind of neutral go between. I'm really interested in that other roidmud that was helping our victim of the week.

How a simple filler episode suddenly turn into a biggest plot twist that aren't really twist to us but it should be!

We already knew that Chase was Proto-Drive but why Mr. Belt hasn't called Chase's REAL name before becoming Roidmude?

What is Chase's future? Will he regain his human form or get killed off?

Holy crap, Machine Chaser is Proto Drive! Nobody saw that one coming! :rolleyes

But yeah, this was a step in the right direction. The case this week works, even if it's something that both Den-O and W did before; the second Roidmude is an interesting twist, though. The stuff with Chaser is nicely timed; we've all known who he really is for months now, so it's nice that the show is going there already and not dragging it out any further. I really thought they might keep this secret for a few more months, but letting it out now sets up some interesting possibilities for what Chaser will be doing for the rest of the show.

At least I hope so. If he gets mindwiped or something and goes back to just being a time-wasting fight scene I'm going to be really pissed.

Oh, and it goes without saying, but the show still sucks at trying to be funny. I will admit to getting a good chuckle out of the monster running away while Gou was posing, though.

Speaking of Gou, I liked him a lot more this week. He and Shinnosuke seem to be working together well already.

Solid episode. Nothing surprising, but it's good that they finally revealed Chase's identity. He feels really death-flagged at this point though, which is a shame because he's got potential to be a great character. Maybe we're gonna get a little more focus on Heart and Brain as characters now at least. Also I need a 1/12 cloak for whenever I get Chase's SHF.

This episode was brilliant! Chase's story is one of my favorites and I am happy that he learned he was Proto-Drive. So he's finally a Kamen Rider right? I love Shinnosuke and Gou's chemistry they are such a fun pair of Riders. I love Mach's sentai-like pose and how the enemy used it to run away that was hilarious. The Ride Crosser is pretty cool, I can't wait to see more of it, I'm going to guess that Chase will probably use it sometime too. The whole Special Teams Unit is so much I love them how they reacted to the celebrity this episode.

Good episode. Chase finally gets more spotlight, Gou is much more tolerable this time around and the twist with the second Roidmude who obviously will play a bigger role next week was quite nice.

I'm also very satisfied that Brain decided to let the secret out instead of everyone talking around it for like 10 more episodes.

The only thing that really threw me of and could have been done much better was the Ride Crosser. Chaser get's knocked of the bike and they suddenly just combine? WTF? That just screamed "buy our toys!", even more than the obnoxious Signal Bike roll-call last week.

This could have been a good scene later on, when Chaser realized what he wants and allows his bike to combine with Gou's instead of being thrown off like some stupid idiot.

Now I hope we never see that stupid thing again. Good chances for that, seeing how rarely the Trideron switches forms, CGI isn’t cheap.

Oh and by the way, the Slowdown-effect is back, thank god!

My thinking is that Chase will stay Chase and we\ll never see proto Drive (unless we get a global Freeze special which I hope we do). When he gets his upgrade in April it will most likely be a purified version of his suit, with it dropping the asymmetrical style.

That takes place in the lead up to the global freeze

Oh that's what you meant. Nah, don't think they'll do more Global Freeze, maybe some flashbacks for Chase that depict how he saved Kiriko and was captured by the Roidmudes, but not the whole deal.

I loved that Gou's showboating was interrupted not only once, but twice. Just found it pretty darn funny for the typical invincible transformation sequence to get messed up. Also hoping that means it'll go away now heh.

Continued focus on Chase is something I can totally get behind too.

Could it have been more obvious that the manager is the Roidmude though?

Mach's introduction proving impractical was cool, as was Road Winter.

Chase's identity was pretty obvious but it's good to have it confirmed.

The Ride Crosser is the most stupid and absurd rider machine ever and I like that.

No, that will always be the Powered Ixer, Kamen Rider Ixa's barrel-tossing dinosaur wagon. Second place is the giant blue Nintendo ROB that Accel plugged into.

Oh man and I had successfully forgotten that Powered Ixer exists...but given how important that thing is I will probably have forgotten about it again in two minutes.

Am I the only one who actually LOVE that Ride Crosser? That Ride Crosser even DESTROYs that Roidmude and their core!

Wonder what's gonna happen to Chase now?

I know that I want chase to stay in the series but if it feels like they raise up some death-flags on chase.

My guess is that that chase will spend most of the episode brainwashed and eventually kiriko, Krim and Shinnosuke's words will reach him and he will break out of the mindwipe.

If he does this I won't imagine him joining immediately but after a while after he has done some soul searching.

I wonder what will happen in later episodes if possible if Chase and Shinnosuke's switch places like in Faiz with Takumi and Kiba.

What do you mean by this exactly, like they swap henshin devices or they swap their allegiances?

The first part. I can see Chase becoming Drive again while Shinnosuke is captured and controlled by the Roidmudes to become the new grim reaper.

Was thinking about Abaranger's Asuka who took on the evil armor later.

I like the idea of chase obtaining his old drive amour again mainly but I would miss chaser form since that is a great outfit.

Now if shinnosuke get captured by the roidmudes and then turn into a new grim reaper that would be cool but it feels unlikely to happen.

At most I just want Chase to make through the end of the series.

Not gonna happen. They wont just make their Main Character the new Villain. maybe for a few Episodes but definitely not forever.

That is why I said it was unlikely to happen at the end of my post.

Soooo I really liked this episode. it was a big step up from the previous ones and even if it had the lame editing humor it did alot of things right. Love that the cats out of the bag with Chaser and I like that he is really just a Roidmude and not a human turned Roidmude or something like that. Really wanna see how this is going to develop with his two conflicting prime directives. The one beinge two protect humans and the other one being to destroy Kamen Rider. Especially now that he knows he himself is a Kamen Rider. Getting some episodes of Chase trying to figure out what he wants to be and to what conclusion he will come could be very very nice. Especially if the connections two the other Riders are explored more.

One of my favorite parts about this episode though was Gou. This Episode really made me love the guy. I thought his jokes were really funny and I really wanna know how he became Mach and why he has such a strong hatred for the Roidmudes. His Roll Call is still every kinds of awesome and always love seeing him doing it.

Shinnosuke kinda became the boring one out of the main trio. I liked him when he was solo during the first episodes but know with Case being more involved in everything and Gou having some nice hints to his backstory and some side effects of the Mach system just makes SHinnosuke kinda bland in comparison.

Anyway cant wait for next episode.

Of course not forever. Eventually Chase will be the grim reaper again but joining team KR and Shinnosuke becomes Drive again (maybe when he gets the final form upgrade).

Wonder how Gou will deal Chase since he learns that he's both a Roidmude and Proto-Drive.

Unless I'm much mistaken, the actress they were trying to protect is Bouken Pink, isn't she?
