I like it. Know why? It proves they're giving a damn and doing something new. Judd, you may just save us all. I like Keeper. I want a Keeper figure.

Reminds me of that weird alien from the Turbo movie but on the plus side, you can understand him and, as Sentai pointed out, the creatives are going out of their way to try something new. Hope they can keep it up.

Keeper gave me Lerigot flashbacks (followed be Galidor flashbacks), but thank Godoka that his voice wasn't grating like Lerigot's. Though Keeper's eyes are a tad off.

And I'm with Sentai, this is proving that Judd and Co. are willing to try new things.

Please don't tell me we traded Tourin for this character.

In all seriousness though, that clip wasn't that bad for Power Rangers. I'm very hopeful for Dino Charge now.

So Torin is now Lerigot 2.0?

Alright, can't say I saw that coming. It's just REALLY nice to see some originality here, and seeing this clip is getting me even more excited for Dino Charge in that regard.

And like GoseiWonder said up there, the thing totally looks like it came straight out of Galidor.

It looks like a cross between and lizard, and aged Furbus and Tom.

You've seen him for all of forty seconds. How about giving it a chance first.

I actually like Keeper. The design may not be the best, but it's certainly interesting at the least. It honestly is refreshing to see them doing something new besides just including Sentai characters (not that there is anything wrong with that necessarily). Like the Bounty Hunter. That's also very original too. :)
(I want a Keeper figure and some Keeper merchandise now... :lol)

My only qualm is that the eyes look kind of off. Otherwise, he's a MASSIVE step up from Gosei. Hell, he actually looks like he can do something other than "exist."

You are, of course you are. I'm just suggesting we see a full episode with him, see how the character relates to other characters, before just saying he's a piss-poor Torin.

It wouldn't take much to be a step-up from Totem-Wall-Face.

Hell, DIMITRIA is a massive step up from Gosei! :lol

I'd rather they brought back that annoying clockwork owl from Time Force than give us another Gosei.

Keeper isn't much of a looker, but they gave him blinking eyes and that really helps the design. :) I like what I'm seeing, there's something original there.

And yes, Lerigot immediately came to mind. :D

I hope we never see realistic dinosaurs on this show again.
Keeper doesn't bother me though. He's not creepy like gnomey characters tend to be.

The one in this clip looked soooo bad. It looks like it's from the early 2000s at best. To be fair, Power Rangers and CG quality never really went hand-in-hand.

I felt this clip was very Power Rangers, you know? It doesn't look like it would fit in with Sentai, but it has a very distinct Power Rangers flavour. I don't know why, though.

I loved it. Totally has some originality to it that has been lacking for 4 years. Cannot wait for the premiere.

fair enough, it's not just using torin that's making me not like it, in my opinion, i just dont feel good about it, even since the cast reveal, story, characters it's not working for me, not because i want it to be like kyoryuger, i have seen pr series that are not like the sentai versions that i love and i dont like.

That's perfectly alright. I'm just against this people who are seeing The Keeper and complaining he's to different. You wanted something not Kyoryuger.

I'm going to just look at this weird until the show hits. Until then i'm just going to hold back on shouting "kill it with fire" and shout "Gandalf the lizard-monkey".
