Should Go-Busters morphin' into Dino Charge?
 

We're midway through the Dead Zone. And no one's enjoying themselves. But it does give us time to think. Coming up in the second half of season one of Dino Charge, before we reach Dino Supercharge, and I have a question.

Do you think anything from Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters should be adapted into Dino Charge? What could be adapted and make sense, or should Go-Busters make it but as toy-only figures. Be sure to vote in the poll, as well as telling us what you think down below.

I believe it should be toy-only. I would love seeing Ace, especially, as part of the Zord Builder line. Kids would get a kick out of the buddyroids. But I think they missed their chance with adapting the show itself. I don't feel it'd make sense now.

I think having it be toy only would be cool, but I don't think the show would mix very well by doing a hybrid adaption for the second season of the show. With Zyruanger, Dairanger and Kakuranger fusing into MMPR, at least those shows have some similar themes to it.

Don't do anything with it at all for now. Just stick to adapting Kyoryuger.

I'd rather we not have another Hybrid of two seasons (especially Go-Busters and Kyoryuger). For the show, just stick to adapting Kyoryuger

As for the toyline on the other hand I say, "why not?" I think a Zord builder version of Ace would be awesome.

A few months ago I'd have been loudly proclaiming yes but now I could take it or leave it. If they can work them in then great, but they shouldn't be shoehorned in and ruin the great flow the show has going.

I dont need it to be honest. Dino Charge works well enough as it is. Bringing in the Go-Busters footage could potentially do more harm than good.

I loved Go-Busters but I have to say bring it into the toyline only. It would be nice to see it adapted but there would be problems if it were brought into the show halfway through.

I can think of one way that they could be adapted in. But it would be for like an episode or two.

It should be adapted, but in limited capacity, and done specifically and carefully or not at all. (A): It should incorporate Red Buster, Beet Buster, and Stag Buster. I make this remark because it would be easier to adapt C. Nick and Beet J. Stag than Gorisaki and Usada. Nick can go to cycle mode and Stag can become, well, Stag. Things would have to be flipped around heavily regarding the exacting nature and how certain elements play out. Originally, I was only suggesting Beet and Stag because Buddyroid Stag could be given a Beetleborgs reference. I would go so far as to include cameos by the Thunder Rangers from Ninja Storm (parallels have already been made on the Sentai-side). (B): It should NOT BE IN DINO CHARGE!!! I have always mentally championed a sister series alongside an existing one. A P.R. anthology show which focuses on no one team would be both interesting and would need material to focus on. Unused Goseiger, Gokaiger, and Go-Busters footage would definitely be ideal.

I think the two series have too radically different themes to properly mix. I have heard the idea of them doing a short storyline (one or two episodes or a longer special) based on them being some kind of Space Police or Bounty Hunter rangers hunting Sledge, which could work, but it would be risky thematically and would probably mess with the flow if not done as a kind of prologue or something. It would still make sense as toys though - just market them as the Legendary Agent Rangers or something.

In what way? I can easily see Gobusters being used as a sequel to Dino Charge.

I can see the Energems being used as a major power source in place of Eneton.

There is always the possibility of it feeling forced, plotthreads getting dropped or not fully developed due to the change in footage and therefore complete change of the villains and losing some rangers since Go-Busters had only five members.

I am not saying that it would be bad. Just that it could turn out to be bad.

Dino Charge is fine on its own. Moving on.

Id love to see the toys and it would be cool to see the suits in some manner such as a Psycho rangers V2 kinda thing but aiside from that id rather they get thier own adaptaion or straight to video short.

Space cops come to arrest Sledge for intergalactic crimes pertaining to his attacks on Earth, Keeper, instigating dinosaur genocide, releasing wanted criminals to meet their deaths in a complete disregard for space law, and several unpaid spaceflight violation tickets for not fixing his blinkers?

Adapt it, but do it in a manner similar to Alien Rangers. Have it be a six or seven-episode series leading into Super Charge... Or better yet, whatever they do for Ninninger.

They could easily make it happen with spending barely any money: Just make it either a short series, or a longer series of short, ~15 minute episodes using only the in-suit and Robo footage, re-dubbed. It'd work great as a lead-in to Ninninger because of the similar methods in how the MOTWs appear (inanimate objects turning into monsters).

Shouldn't be adapted. If Saban can skip Go-Busters entirely, then let it be.

I really don't think Go-Busters should be shoehorned into Dino Charge. It'd be safe to use elements from the show, such as villains, but it's best to just leave well enough alone.

I'm assuming he means aesthetic themes *they all feature animal zords,a similar color palette for the Rangers with the green DaiRanger's zord being mostly black anyway and KibaRanger doesn't look too out of place with the Zyu suits*

If they can integrate it in a smart way, sure.

If not, they skipped it for a reason, just make sure the current show remains fun.

has anyone else heard the theory that they'd like to do something with Go-Busters, but they're keeping it as a backup incase they really don't like any of the shows they have in front of them once Dino (Super)Charge is done?

We're looking at 2017 for the post-Dinocharge sentai, which gives the people at Saban a choice of ToQGer, Ninninger and whatever Sentai's 2016 show would be (although they'd be starting production possibly without having ALL the footage if they did that - one benefit from being so far behind now, is they have a show's entire run, so they know what footage and elements they have to work with).

I know it is still early, but has anyone heard about what Saban thinks of Ninninger? I know they weren't impressed with ToQGer, but the suits and mecha from Ninninger seem more "Power Rangers-friendly" than the train stuff.

Honestly, I don't really care what they do or don't do with Go-Busters as long as they don't skip Tokkyuger. I loved Lightspeed Rescue back in the day, and I really want to see them do another train Megazord in PR.

I beat Saban will turn the Go-Busters into the Dino Charge Rangers Supercharge Modes, but hopefully he and Nickelodeon will not make the same mistakes they did in Super Megaforce.

There is really no chance of that happening. They learned especially with chip back.

If Saban does turn Go-Busters into the Super Mode of Power Rangers Dino Charge for Power Rangers Dino Supercharge, he and Nickelodeon will probably do the following : (1) Won't explain the initials for Go-Busters (G.B.) on their new Ranger forms, (2) either have all of Dino Supercharge with the Rangers useing only their Super Modes or have the Rangers use them in half or five out of 20-22 episodes of that season, (3) ignore the Go-Busters/Supercharge Rangers Spy theme and do not explain it just like the Super Megaforce Rangers pirate theme, (4) Ruin the series with the same terrible writer's who do not even do their research and (5) extremely ruin the team up special involving all of the Dinosaur themed Power Ranger teams in exactly the same way they did the so called Legendary Battle.

Is it wrong for Me to call the 2010to 2014 years of Power Rangers the Five Years of garbage? If so, then I apologize for insulting some of your favorite seasons of Power Rangers.

that makes sum sense but i heard they skipped gobuster because the toys would not work well with zord builder ports

I'm gonna go with option C.

I'd like to see some MOTW or something make an appearance since they're look would make some ammount of sense for Scifi alien type stuff that the villains have. But nothing much beyond that.
