Garren Broken Head Version will be a Toei Hero Net Exclusive set for release in January 2016 for 6156 yen.

Gasp the true broken head rider arrives, I may actually have to pick this one up.

Yup it is.

So it's close to the price of the original release, offers only a broken helmet for something new, and would require the buyer to jump through multiple hoops to get it and probably pay more after fees, compared of course to the similarly priced retail version which is Garren in his regular state and comes with a bike to make his price point understandable.

You know there's a word for releases like this.

Instabuy. That's the word I'm using at least.

So long as it's released in a two-pack with Zangetsu Shin so they finally have an excuse to reissue the damned thing, I'm in.

Sounds pretty cool! If it features a darker color scheme like Broken Head Blade does it'll be a really great figure (i think the actual suit was a little darker in the show than what we got in the figuarts, so). I'm in, provided that I can find it in the aftermarket for a reasonable price, probably years in the future. I can wait.

In any case, this indicates Bandai isn't quite done with Blade yet, which is good. Still need Wild Chalice and (hopefully) the Joker Undead.

Potentially cool release but I can't justify that price on what's essentially the same figure with a different head :/

I'm not a figuarts buyer,mostly SOC's, but theres just too many of these certain releases that can be sold as accessories. This could have easily sold as a accessory pack rather than a full on release...but this is bandai we're talking about

I may agree with this, but the Broken Head Blade figuarts wasn't just the normal Blade figure with a different head, it featured different, darker colors that really set it apart. The same will probably be true of Garren. I think this makes enough of a distinction to justify a different release--especially since one is not necessarily any more or less accurate than the other. It's just more options, which I think is fine.

Kinda hope someday Bandai releases a Leangle with the right eye color, now that I think about. It'd be stupid, but hell, I'd buy one.

I want to see what it looks like before I decide on it.

See, that's much better than what they did with Blade. Paint scheme aside, they modified the chest and added a Rouze Absorber, as opposed to just putting a new head on him and darkening the colors a bit.

Still not worth my money, though.

Ah didnt even notice the Rouse Absorber when I first saw it. Really nice touch.

I like that they mold it in different color, so you don't get the same figure.
