What do you want to see happen in PR?
 

Some one brought this up in that "Gay Ranger" thread. So I thought it would make an interesting conversation. So like the name says, what do you want to see happen in PR?


Personally I would like to see an Asian Red ranger and a female black/green ranger. I'm not counting the Gokai Changes and ToQ Changes. I want a full time green/black female ranger. Oh!! And more American made Rangers. We've 4, lets make more!

A Ranger named Jon.

Because I'm one of those people who likes when a fictional character shares their name.

I can understand that. Actually that's a good want. I want it too!! I want my name as well.

A Ranger with an Axe-Shield and obsessed with mutton. Possibly a hunting enthusiast.

In all seriousness, how about a Doctor vs. Sentient Diseases Sentai/Ranger themed show?

I'd like to see an Asian Red Ranger. Ninninger is a asian theme so maybe that is a good time to put him in the adaptation. I thought that they should have done it in Samurai. Ninjor coming back and being their mentor would be pretty cool. American exclusive foot soldiers like they did in the past with In Space & Lost Galaxy.

Continue having original villians & original zord footage like Dino Charge is doing.

Anyway, I want a horse theme or a horse ranger.

Horse rangers, Green girls, Pink boys, who wants to write Nōkaman for me? It has ALL that stuff!

I would love an East Asian Red Ranger too. There's been plenty of diversity in the role of the Red, but I feel an East Asian is a bit overdue.

I'd be interested in seeing another military/police season. Maybe try to take what SPD had but elevate it to where there's different branches of power. Like how the FBI has authority of one group and so on and forth. A foodchain basically.

Sixth Ranger must be either Slephnir or a Hippocamus based ranger (totally jumping on your desire, here).

I can't find a reason to care about Mystic Force so it's a moot point.

Because being gay isn't threatening of damaging to the psyche of children? Because they had straight people in relationships on the show before.

Also just because he brings up male pink rangers a lot.

I'd love to see more orange and purple Rangers. They're cool colors that unfortunately often get overlooked by Toei.

Man, Gekiranger showed me how cool purple looks on a ranger. It's a shame they don't use it more often.

I agree. But I believe they should go more diverse with their colors. Kyoyuger is the best we've gotten in a full spectrum of colors.

While Kyoryuger was a full display, they didn't use them very well, which was disappointing. Grey and Cyan showed up, what, 3 times? KyoryuViolet spent more time in the base or in a lab than actively working.
For Kyoryu, they were just trying to up the numbers, which was a little disappointing, in comparison to ToQ and Geki, which their "Off" color characters, Orange and Violet, were major members.

Rant incoming. Run to the damn bomb shelters.

I'm not going to rail against Nickelodeon again. Saban Brands has no choice in that. Vortexx collapsed, The Hub is gone, Cartoon Network would put it at six in the morning before a full day Teen Titans Go, and I doubt seriously they could come to terms with Disney XD. So we're stuck there.

What I am going to rail against is what I've named the Ghost of Gosei. That deep, emotionless voice that rears it's ugly head whenever the Rangers do absolutely anything. Morph, call their weapons, call the zords, combine the zords, blow their noses. It needs to go. It adds nothing to the show, it has absolutely no character. The original Megazord? Megazord Sequence has been Initiated! That had character. This voice has an incredible lack of character. It has so little character it actually collapsed into itself and made a black hole of soulless droning where no light, gravity, or sound escapes other than "Stego-Tricera-Formation!". it needs gone. Dead and gone.

Also a Poisondra figure. Make that happen.

A gay ranger isn't exactly on my wish list, however, I would have no issue with one as long as he is not also the Male Pink Ranger that I wish for.

Maybe in real life but not in PR.

So, for a horse themed team, would it be cheating if I included both a tenma and a pegasus, or are they too similar?

Didn't Ninja Storm/Hurricanger have to beetles, regardless of what beetles they were? I think you'll get a pass.

As has been stated before, it's still a pretty heated topic, and a kid's show- and let's be honest here, PR IS a kid's show at the end of the day, regardless of how mature it can be- is far from the right place to handle a homosexual relationship. A few years from now, maybe, but right now? No.
