Power Rangers on Scratchpad Wiki
 

For those who didn't know, there is a Wikia wiki known as Scratchpad. On Scratchpad, you can create mini-wikis. In addition, for many fictional characters and TV series, you can create counterparts pages and cast lists.

I have created a few counterparts pages for Power Rangers characters on Scratchpad (and contributed to a few others), and I think they are worth sharing.

There are several other counterparts pages for Power Rangers characters that I contributed to as well.

Any feedback for any counterparts, or any additions? Note that I cannot delete existing counterparts per Scratchpad policy.

You see, I don't understand the whole counterpart thing. What makes Buttercup a counterpart to Trini or AJ from fairy odd parents a counterpart to Billy? This should be called a loose associations wiki.

Buttercup and Trini are both tomboys, and AJ and Billy are both nerdy scientists.

Those are loose comparisons, not counterparts. AJ isn't a super hero or even a main character on Fairy Oddparents. And what makes Trini a tomboy? Because she doesn't talk about shopping or have a boyfriend like Kimberly does? That is an unfair assessment of the character. I agree that she was an extremely barebones ranger, but I never pegged her as a tomboy.

Kimberly and... Princess Peach? Since when did simply wearing the same color make two fictional characters "counterparts" to each other? Would you also consider Cheetara and Velma to be "counterparts" because both wear orange?

Sorry, but all the examples I'm reading through here are nothing but loose associations.

Edit: Adam... compared to Chester and Link?... and what does Adam and Chase have in-common?

How is are Lucas' counterparts Bridge and Max? They are nothing alike.

Nahh. Lucas is TOTALLY like Speed Racer! They're both Asian, love cars, wear blue, and drive cars! It's a perfect fit!

By that logic, Genie is Solaris Knight!

Yeah, no offense, dude, but a lot of these counterparts seem pretty arbitrary and random. How is Jason in any way like Barney the dinosaur or Mickey Mouse?

Something tells me you don't know what a tomboy is. Because that certainly doesn't describe Trini.

I didn't add those two counterparts, so I'm not sure.

The Aisha comparisons are just lazy at best (Tanya and Kelsey)
Taylor...how is she like Sailor Moon, Sandy from Spongebob, and Rouge the bat from Sonic?
And please explain every comparison made for Troy. Thomas the tank engine? Mega Man X? Goofy? Billy from MMPR? Hercules? Come on now.

Some of those were not my additions, so I cannot comment on them. If you want to add your own counterparts you can register to Wikia either with your own account or via Facebook.

Then I do believe your articles are being edited by people with less than noble intentions.

Note that per Scratchpad policy you are not allowed to delete other users' counterparts. However, you are free to add any additional counterparts if appropriate. Some entries may include two or more counterparts from the same series.

Well that is a dumb rule, because it makes the list look insane. Comparing Mickey Mouse to Troy from Megaforce? Really?

And some troll could go in and just post a bunch of random crap comparisons, and nobody would be able to do anything about it.

I believe that has happened, but I think MalePinkRanger has thrown in some raisin cakes as well; like Trini and Buttercup.
