Rescue Rider
 

Hey y'all!! Remember how we started to work, and got pretty far, on the Tokunation Rider? And then suddenly we all stopped... Well, I'm here to bring an idea that GoseiWonder said to life. We will now work on a Rescue themed Rider!!
And unlike the other thread I'm going to post a list of the things we'll do, in the order we are supposed to do them. This way there's no confusion. :D

1. Main Rider Identity
2. Villains
3. Main Rider Forms (starting with primary, figuring out how many forms they'll have, and the weapons/perks/abilities of each form as well.)
4. Main Rider Machine
5-7. Same stuff for Secondary Rider
8-11. Same for Tertiary Rider (if necessary.)

What's a Japanese rescue pun?

No earthly clue. Why? Is that what you want the characters Civilian or Rider name to be?

Civilian.

The Rider can just be "Kamen Rider Res-Q."

Civilian name based off of a Japanese emergency pun.... *goes off to look*

Apparently I'm horrible at finding Japanese puns. Anybody else having luck?

The only rescue pun I know is that GoGo Five is also the Japanese emergency number and Kyuukyuu means rescue and "99" which was when GoGo-V came out in Japan.

So maybe we should ditch the idea for a pun name?

Well...you could just toss some 9s (kyus) in res...kyu...Or something.

We're talking about his Civilian name here, not the Rider name. But that does sound nice.

I think the civilian can be probably a former firefighter or something.

For the rider's bike, like Den-O, what if he linked his bike into a rescue vehicle like Den-O does with the DenLiner train? Same with the Rescue Force when R1 links the core striker max into Rescue Striker?

I appreciate the ideas for the Rider Machine. But right now we're discussing the Rider's identity.

How many Japanese names have "-kyu/Kyu-" in them? As both first and last, because I thing incorporating the "kyu" that way for both can give us a Kozue Tanabe thing where the first (or last or one of each) syllables spell Kyukyu (Tanabe Kozue->Ta...Ko...->Tako->Octopus).

I mean, it MIGHT work, we just need names.

Tamotsu (defender/protector) Ko (happiness, light, or peace). How are those names?

I like Tamotsu. Maybe we can put it together into Tamkotsu?

I think it would be better if we used actual names. It would make it seem like a real person, and thus more relate-able.

Maybe someone rebellious but sometimes follows some laws.

I think the only problem is that it'd be impossible for them to be a rider (someone who starts off fighting evil on their own) and have them doing a rescue operation that requires multiple people in order to accomplish.

like, you cant have a guy putting out fires, pulling people out of the fire, and doing cpr/other medical procedures all at the same time.

That's true.

The main hero should learn though about what it means to be a hero and stuff. Learn stuff from the best in their specialty in rescues.
