Wait... Does he have the Gaim style hips? What gives? Why does he have different (arguably better) hip joints than Ghost?

Because Makoto is better than Takeru?

Anyway, the Specter design is kickass, and so is this figuarts. It was a given, but it's still nice that the Hand can switch modes too. Definitely getting him.

Here's my desperate hope that not only does Spectre have the better hips, but Ghost will, as well, making the preview pictures inaccurate. Maybe Bandai noticed a lot of negative comments about the hips on Ghost...?

Ghost and Specter have the exact same hips.

So when can we expect preorders? I love Makoto's design and his character right now.

Also, am I the only one who notices a lack of bikes? I don’t want them, but weren’t they released alongside their Riders last year?

They were, but then Drive had a bigger focus on the vehicles since that was the whole theme. I expect the Ghostriker at least will be released soon after this, Specter's bike will probably end up as a web exclusive though.

So when will pre-orders for Spectre start?

Beginning of January, although I'm inclined to say it'll be more like the 5th than the 1st since I'm pretty sure most stores shut over the new year period.

Don't quote me on that though, Tamashii will release the exact date over the next week.

They're only now just releasing the Ghost figuarts, even Gaim didn't start getting bikes till a quarter of the way in, give it time guys they'll get to them eventually.

He sort of looks like Kamen Rider Ibuki at first glance.

I haven't watched much of Ghost, so whenever I see Spectre I think I'm looking at another form of Ghost. I like the design so I'll be swinging this, but I wish Spectre had a more distinct design to him.

I wish we'd get more Hibiki Riders too, a lot of the Rider designs appeal to me. SIC would be an option, but they were all released during the time when the line was brittle as hell so that's out.

It's a rifle primarily. The hand thing is more of a secondary function anyway.

Yeah his weapon sucks. He never uses it outside of form changes. I figured he might use it as a club in his Specter-form (because of the whole Oni-thing with the horns) but he never does. It just flies out of his Driver whenever he changes into Nobunaga or Tut. Pretty disappointing.

And it just looks stupid too.
