New Legacy Ninja Megazord Images
Courtesy Amazon.com, which also lists a release date of 11/1:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FRC9VFA/ the Ape Zord has elbow articulation. |
I hope it's compatible with Legacy Titanus for Legacy Ninja Ultrazord.
|
I don't hate this. Bear seems to be the one to suffer the most for show accuracy but Frog looks like it has a hinged mouth and the Ape's elbows are an awesome addition.
|
Also I just noticed the rear legs on the Bear show the connecting points for the Falconzord.
|
Well, it sure looks nice. Ape having elbows (As well as painted swords) and legs that can split, the frog having what looks to be a mouth (Yay~), and the ports having moved to the Bear zord so that the Wolf loses it's conspicuous penis (The wolf also looks to have joints, but I don't know whether they're just details to look nice or actual joints).
I would really consider picking this up if it were discounted by another $20, because I honestly like what I see. |
I'v been hoping any power rangers toys coming in the fall news was good to be movie toys.

OMG, is it just me or does it also look like the wolf and bear have articulation in the knees/ankles on the front legs and that the toad's mouth can open?
|
I love that the crane zord has painted eyelashes.

Porbably the only Legacy megazord im getting next to the shogun megazord (if they ever make one, im sure they will) and the falcon zord. I was planning on getting the first wave in the legacy line but the legacy megazord was disappointing since it was just the 2010 mmpr megazord with diecast. I did like the end result with the ultrazord. Too late to get it now since it probably worth a fortune.
|
If/When they do them, I plan to buy Tor, Serpenterra, and the Shogun Megazord. After that, I'm good. I only care about stuff from Zyu, Dai, and Kaku. Although, I might be tempted to get something from Carranger/Turbo.
|
I honestly don't know whether or not I want this line to continue.
On the one hand, a lot of the zords look great. I expected Kakure Daishogun to basically be the same as the toy from the 90's, but they actually went above and beyond what I expected. But on the other hand, the prices are insane, they make strange decisions when it comes to tooling the Megazords, and legs seem to be a weak point due to too much die cast (Not here, due to how the frog works, but first the Dragonzord in Battle Mode, then the Thunder Megazord) |
If this was $50 I might consider getting it on sale.
Really wondering just where the hell they get these prices from. |

How does pricing usually work anyway? I've been told numerous times it's the stores that determine it themselves but we usually see things like this before they're on shelves & they're already given a number.
On topic, yeah I don't really know why I even try anymore. Lots of us kept on saying how expensive this line would get the longer it went on. I'd really hate to see dollar marks for seasons people keep asking for like In Space & Wild Force. |
|
I..almost want this.
I still need the legacy Dragonzord (not fond of the black version though), so that would get priority if I were to pick any of these up. I always dug the Ninjazord though, and when I was a kid I lost the crane zord very shortly after getting the thing so having an actual complete version like this seems..fitting. |
Yup, that certainly is a Thundercougarfalconbird.
I mean NinjaMegaFalconzord. However, seeing as the Falcon is damn near the same price, there's no way in hell I'm ever picking it up. Still iffy on the Ninja Megazord, though. |
Near the same price? The Falconzord is $60, the Ninja MZ is $100. Plus, I'm sure you will see the Falconzord on sale for $50 at some point. I got mine for a little under $50 thanks to some reward points.
Anyway, I've never figured out which I like more between the Ninja MZ or the Shogun MZ. I love how curvy and quick the NMZ is, but the SMZ is big and menacing. |
I see the price of 99.99 usd and my brain goes "oh crap ninja megazord is going to cost me like 154.99 cdn. I much rather get the old verisons again.
|
Well, the Ape can spread his legs. Generally don't care if something can spread it's legs or not and certainly don't throw money at the screen when it happens, but... damn.
*throws money at the screen* |

Ninja Megazord has such a cool looking head.
I'd like to get this. It's certainly better priced than the Falconzord. Hmm. |

I mean $50 is like the price of high-end action figures like SICs or shit. And again, that's only if you get it on sale. |

Didn't bandai announce at toy fair (or something) that the price point would be $80 for the ninja megazord? Maybe $100 is just amazons pre order price. Also, are you guys finding the falconzord in stores for $60? Because online it's $65, and it's the same in all the stores near me...

TRU went ahead and started selling it at $80. Bandai said they'd talk to TRU about it. After a few weeks it dropped to $60 and then went up to $65 pretty shortly after that. And yes, the Ninja Megazord was announced at $80. Amazon doesn't normally charge more for pre-orders. Other retailers have had it at $109. I'm kind of wondering if internally they decided the Falconzord + Ninja Megazord should have a combined MSRP of $160. When fans got mad that the Falconzord was $80, they just "moved" $20 bucks over to the Megazord. Actually typig that out makes me realize how unlikely that sounds and they're just charging more because they can. Heck, maybe the LTMZ sold well enough at $200 they knew they could up the price (and maybe quality) of the Ninja Megazord a bit. |
Those are some good points. Hopefully the price will come down. They gotta realize that the price is high considering how long some of this stuff sits on the shelf, and how quickly they go once the price drops. Sure, some of them fly off the shelf when they're new, but once supply starts to meet demand they tend to sit.
