I like how different they are.

I actually like the new coin designs, not crazy about the helmets though, the shape of them still kinda reminds me of cheap costume store helmets.

It makes me wonder if there will be a dinosaur theme or not. No Dinos on the coin and other than red ranger, no real dino design in the helmets. At first, I thought I just couldn't make it out.

Taking a closer look at the helmets, I kind of like the subtlety of the dino motif. It's there, sure it's a STREACH, but it is there. Maybe they're based on, like... alien dinosaurs. :p

Pink is visible too.

Not crazy over the coins. I get what they're doing, trust me, but I don't really like it.
I would've liked if they had some ancient engravings on them, rather than just looking like a crystal someone found with a pick axe.
It would've helped establish that they're the dino coins, but also still keep the ancient, lost and recently unearthed design as well.

Looks Rock'en good, get it, cause the props look like they are made from rocks.

I love how they're taking a more realistic, alien, ancient approach to the movie.

Yeah, the dino-theme is so subtle it may as well not be there at all. On first glance these seem more alien bird themed than anything else.

That's not to say I don't dig them though! Although the power coins are pretty dull.

You can all must see there zords.

Thinking we need official images for the coins..... odds are reflective elements within them makes for poor photos.

I can only barely see the dinosaur motif in these helmets...(really can only make out Red and Pink's really) and the 'Power Coins' remind me of that pyrite (aka Fool's Gold) stuff you could buy in museums for some reason.

Am I the only one who can see the pterodactyl in the pink power coin , red is also kind of visible as a t-rex

I think the coins are somewhat cool.

But the helmets are as heinous as I expected from the early promo photo. The proportion of the faces is so weird and off-putting, it's hard to look at (especially the gigantic mouths/lips -- lord, I hope they don't try to have the lips move or emote). I just do not like the aesthetic of them. But maybe that'll end up being the point? I admit they do look suitably alien... albeit in a very unpleasant way.

Yeah, the Pterodactyl is visible in Pink (That seems to be an ongoing trend), but the others seem quite blatantly blank, unless my eyes just really suck. Red's Tyrannosaurus is a little visible, but that's after tilting my monitor back.

Anyone know if they are going to be up for sale? Cos they look gorgeous and i'd lurrrve to get my hands on them...

I'm kind of worried they left the yellow, blue, and black reflective emblems absent on purpose...the red and pink ones for pterodactyl and t-Rex are very clear and visible but the others have not even a hint of there being an image in there which makes me wonder if they will not have the same counterparts as the original series and that they left them out to avoid internet rage...I have seen photos from other attendees and there's a video in 1080p on YouTube with live video and stills from all angles on all the coins and there are no hints of any emblems in yellow blue or black so I don't think it's a case of the photos posted here being blurry or anything...

I love the helmets black being my favorite for it looking fossil like. Do wish the blue was a darker shade like the original movie's.

Am I the only one who when looking at the helmets said "Dead or alive, you're coming with me"?

The coins look like candy.
I dont hate it, works well with the suits but yeah they look like they were made outta pop rocks or something.
They should have candy that resemble them.

Those look more like Chaos emeralds than power coins.

Power coins look cool, the helmets are gonna have to grow on me.

I suddenly have this urge to eat a Jelly Doughnut.

Red and Pink Ranger's helmet look close to the original, but the others not so much :-/

I don't blame you for that. There is a very edible quality to the coins visually. :lolol
Seriously, they look like pop rocks clutters or like you said doughnuts. :lolol

So, while these aren't THAT bad, they don't really give off a dinosaur look to me (besides Red's), and the Power Coins, while also not THAT bad, are more like just hunks of rocks. Also, I was looking through all of the photos we had gotten, and I noticed that Rita has the Green Power Coin in her staff.

Another thing that I noticed, is that if you put the Black Ranger Helmet and Power Rock under a light like they did there, they look silver.

One more thing. Maybe the Blue, Black, and Yellow Ranger don't have their Dino's visible because of the Green Power Coin, and the Mega Dragonzord combination?
