Its just a cross promotional piece between Eva & Godzilla. Just like all of the other cross promotion figures that have been revealed for Shin Godzilla. It's promotional. There's no story that actually features these things combined. It's just to promote the fact that Evangelion's creator, Hideaki Anno, is the one behind Shin Godzilla.

It's not like NGE has done crossover merchandise before. I recall a few years ago, we had a Optimus Prime figure with the Eva Unit 01 colors.

Maybe if Gen Urobuchi writes the next Godzilla movie :P

I see that this is about 12 inches tall. BBTS has listed this. That price is too much for me. I will admire this from afar.
