Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Cast Details
 

So here's our new crew!

I'm absolutely fine with the cast and I love that the protagonists are doctors with the focus on a hospital. It's a better way to set up plots instead of having people with problems randomly bump into the protagonist (even though this will still happen, a lot).

The only thing I'm not so sure about is this "Poppii Pipopapo" thing. It's highly unlikely that she will take part in the action so maybe she's just your Navi kinda deal? I hope she‘s not too annoying.

Maybe Poppii Pipopapo has role as support technician like Kengo from Fourze......
I am really want Kuroto Dan (Genm President) and Haiba Kagami (Hiiro’s father) become Riders too....

Kuroto is almost definitely Genmu.

It also mentions that Snipe is antagonist towards Emu and Hiiro and fights against them as well as the Bugstars.

If Kuroto can become Genmu, thats will be interesting too...

Hmm...maybe Snipe will be similar to Mitsuzane (Ryugen) in terms of personalities...

If I am not wrong, Snipe has plan to collect Rider Gashats....

Anyway, since in recent years Kamen Rider series always has two or more different belt, maybe Genmu Corporation will be create new belt like Yggdrasil create Genesis Driver....

Was afraid Brave will be mean to Ex-Aid.

Also, Ex-Aid blowing into the cartridge before putting it into the belt came from Taikawa. He did went off script and did that during early filming and they just decided it was cool and kept it.

I wouldn't call having a ghostbusting business and being a cop bad excuses, either. And Gaim just didn't have random people. And Wizard actively sought out Gates and Phantoms... Has this ever really been a problem? Maybe OOO?

Anyway, really digging every piece of news we get more and more. I can't wait to see the show.

It's weird that they're all doctors, but none of them are surgeons, since gaming can help dexterity and reflexes.

I never said it's a problem, I just prefer if a Rider's work is a focus for the story, especially if they work in a field which lets them take action. Drive and Double did this very well.

I enjoy other options too as long as it's done right. The old school way of magically running into the people with problems I’ve experienced while watching Black is rather tiresome though.

I hope they really go into the various quarks of the different genres. Like for instance, whenever Snipe gets a headshot, you hear "HEADSHOT!" If they're fighting a bunch of Bugstars, he starts racking up a kill multiplier. "DOUBLE KILL!" "TRIPLE KILL!"

Have Ex Aid's rider kick transition into a quicktime event with button prompts at the bottom of the screen.

Whenever Brave hits enemies, you see numerical damage displayed up above their heads. When he does his rider kick, he freezes time for a moment, so he can go into his action menu and select it.

Bugstars can infect humans on a cellular level, so the LVL1 forms were originally created to fight them off before the infection spreads too far. When the Bustar takes full control, they can attack/infect others- which is when the normal Kamen Rider action begins at LVL2.

Brave is a surgeon.

One of best thing in Ex-Aid series is each Riders only has 3 Form (Level 1 to Level 3) in first quarter magazine scans. This is quite drastically change when compared to previous series (from OOO to Ghost, the protagonist Rider always has more forms than supporting Riders since series beginning).

Interesting. So does this imply that the LVL1 forms will only exist on a microscopic level? Do we know if they exist independently of Emu & Co, or do they control/henshin into the cellular LVL1 forms somehow?

So according to this, four doctors are becoming Riders. However, we've only gotten details on three of them (since there's no way Genmu isn't the president) so that leaves...the coroner, I guess? I guess the coroner is gonna be Lazer.

Speaking of which, I find it interesting that one of the cast members is a coroner. You need dead people to make that an useful role, but Kamen Rider as a whole has stopped having civilians die in random MOTW plots since forever ago (except for the first episode of the past couple of series for some reason). So it'll be interesting to see whether he actually gets anything to do in his actual job, whether he is Lazer or not.

I'm glad about Brave because he is FIRST Secondary Rider who is NOT another generic anti-heroes who wears a leather jacket all the time

I think Brave would refresh for Secondary Rider. He seem very heroic and his motivation of becoming Brave is to HELP people!

Snipe is most likely to be a Third Rider and he is likely to be Anti-Hero due of his status of unlicensed Doctor. I'm intrigued of why he was stripped from his medical license.

Did they play the new theme song for Ex-aid at all at the event? I'd really like to hear it even if it is only a short part.

I don't think he will be Lazer, since Lazer's LV2 is a bike.

Having a human transform into a bike only to become a human again for LV3 would be weird......but then again, we have things like Accel and Nick.

Speaking of Lazer, I like how punk-ish it looks with that straight spiky hair lol

The Level 1 is also humanoid, though, so it's more a human becoming a chibi which transforms into a bike which then transforms into a human again. The base form isn't the bike.


It certainly would be bizarre, but that doesn't stop it from being possible.

So glad that's a thing in the show. That was life with game cartridges back in the day.
