Wild Force was my thought just because it was the last Saban show before the Disney sale, right? Ninja Storm was the first one broadcast entirely on ABC.

I don't know, Jetix was airing all of the seasons as recently as four or five years ago. That's how I first saw all of the post-Lost Galaxy ones.

You know what my hope is? That this means 4Kids reign of terror is truely over. They ruined One Peice, they ruined Dragon Ball Z, (Kai apparently they think is Japanese for suck), and I hope now we get shows like they were meant to be seen.

I can't call all of 4Kids' stuff bad. I mean, I got 5 great seasons of Ninja Turtles out of them (Well, 4 great seasons, the 5th was paid for by Peter Laird). But yeah, 4Kids was mostly crap, I agree.

You can't ruin what's already crap. They did find a way to make it much worse though, which is kind of impressive.

Aside from Blue Popo I know of nothing changed from the Nick airring. The Blue Popo is just asking for Abridged to be more awesome anyways. :p

In a perfect world all anime would have high quality dubs (with subtitle options for the pretentious) and would never be censored or cut (not even for extra commercials). But this isn't a perfect world and TV anime, especially Saturday Morning, isn't gonna stop having problems because 4Kids is gone. Hopeful will have less problems though.


Right now, I don't expect a lot to change other than the name. I'm thinking come day one, most of the block will still be 4Kids shows and slowly move to Saban Brand shows. At most, I hope to see some more of Saban Brands' reacquired liberty. I'd like to see Digimon make an appearance if they have it in the liberty.


PS I'm hoping that the airing rights to Kamen Rider Dragon Knight are still in the mix so that Saban can put in a back to back block with Power Rangers Ninja Storm. Think about it. :D

PPS Because Kamen Rider Kuuga reminded me that "Shinzo" (Mushrambo in Japan) existed, I want to see that return to TV for some reason. :lol

It's not going to happen. There's wayyy too much involved with airing an original series on the television. If it's not dubbed (*shudders* at that thought), I seriously doubt it will be subbed. Also, much of the shows have to be culturally relevant in order to pick up a decently-sized viewership.

And they did ruin One Peice. They changed some of the voices into ones so goofy Ninjor would give a big "WTF", and they changed the wonderful ochesterial score to this idiotic nonsense rap song.

My one guilty pleasure for One Piece was enjoying the rap. In small quantities only, of course. Like once a month ever.

I still can't get past the ridiculous edits like turning a gun into a rubber mallet on a stick... No kid would even think that was a legitimate threat. Ever. Things like that - and the irregular schedule (watching it on CN instead of 4kids) - turned me off from the anime for quite a while until I decided to watch subs.

Thats exactly what I mean. There was a VG Cats comic that summed it up perfect, I just dont have the energy to sift through them untill I find it.

It was a light jab, no need to get so defensive guys. Can we please just agree that 4Kids butchered animes, regardless of how good or bad they are? And saying that reminded me that Saban butchered my all time favorite anime (Though it has an uncut release. Even before it aired). Is giving Saban some control again really that much better?
