A-ha! Interesting...I wonder if they will be keeping the same cast between the two seasons and using the Gokaiger suits as an "upgrade" like many have speculated. This hopefully means two sets of Zords! I'm cautiously optimistic.

Oh wow...didn't see that coming at all.

While I'm cautiously optimistic, the name "Super Megaforce" sounds way too bland and cheesy, even for Power Rangers standards.

They couldn't come up with something more original...

How the hell are they going to cram 100 episodes worth of content into a 40 episode series?

This might be the first time I watch a PR season since Time Force, very interested!

I'm guessing they plan on skipping a lot of Gokaiger for one thing. They'll only focus on the Power Ranger teams, which makes a good deal of the footage unusable.

HA! I called this ages ago. ZeoRangerV and I both theorized they'd use a combo of both shows for Megaforce.

You weren't the only one theorizing as much. :P

I'm a little surprised it's actually going to happen, though. It will be very intesrting seeing how this pans out and how the two shows are worked together.

Calling it now. Goseiger costumes are when the rangers are the knights of some empire. Once they find out said empire is actually horribly evil they go rogue and become space pirates. Your welcome Saban, ill take my payment in any form for my contribution :)

saban keep same 5 heros suits for 5 main megaforce rangers

I'll be entrusted to see how this is done, there are a lot of ideas in my head right now but only really one concern GosiBlack does not equal GokaiGreen, so hopefully GosiBlack evolves to GokaiBlue

I suspect GokaiSilver is simply going to be the typical extra Ranger.

They already made it clear GoseiKnight's showing up in the show early as a mentor figure. Which means to me he's not a Ranger per se and they don't have to worry about the sixth ranger magically disappearing for a while (like MMPR :P).

Well that's going to be one hell of an awkward transition for those who know the source material.

But it is nice to know they'll be forced to deviate from the Sentai plotlines. The sole reason I quit watching Samurai is because I saw that very same show two years prior.

Yeah, its such a perfect set-up Saban would be crazy not to do it.

Why not? I mean, granted, going by the last several years of craptastic acting, music, effects, and plot, I can agree I am not excited, but I will still give it a chance.

Makes sense. I can't think of a way they could do a show with Gokaiger footage and not have it be an anniversary. Though if the relationship between the two shows is anything like Samurai and Super Samurai then Super Megaforce won't come till '14, just after the actual anniversary. Whatever.

It's inevitable that I'll give it a chance.
But given the past few years and now the revelation that, rather than give Gosei and Gokai their own series but just combine the two, I'm not expecting it to be something worth watching.

Toyline will be interesting because of this.

I hope they have two separate casts, so that way we can keep each character a different way. That and I'd wanna audition for GokaiSilver's american counterpart XD.

I'm already voicing him in that fandub, I just need to continue working out before auditions open ;)

It would be interesting if they open the role of Gokai Silver to an actual Otaku, but since this is an US version, I doubt it's gonna happen.

Oh, and if they use the same cast, then the footage from the 199 Great War movie will not work, since Gokaiger and Goseiger fought alongside each other.

well they did say they were redoing the great war, maybe thatll be changed as well
