Favorite Sentai suits?
 

What are you guy's favourite Sentai suits? For me, it's either the Gokaiger suits or the Abarabger suits. The pirate aesthetic works really well for the Gokaiger suits, and the black shirts and pants really make the colours on the costs and boots pop. The sheer coolness of the Abaranger suits, especially white and Black, helped solidify them as my favourites. It also helps I loved Dino Thunder as a kid, lol.

I'm gonna go with the Go-Busters suits. There are others designs I like as much but none of them have the whole leather thing going for them. It gives them a unique flavor that stand out in a crowd.

I'm a huge fan of the Magiranger suits. They've been my favorites since forever and I do not see that changing. I just love the way they use color and the overall style of the visors and everything. It's great.

This one is a pretty tough choice for me and the answer is probably boring, but I love the Zyuranger suits. They've got a great use of shape and color that creates one of the most solid looking suit designs in Sentai history. There might be some nostalgia going on here, but I'm always taken by the suits when I rewatch the show. The sharp lines break up the colors without needing to be very loud or filled with little design quirks to give you something that feels like it has body.

Other suit designs I love are the Kyoryuger suits, they're loud and bright but done in a very appealing manner. The Dairanger suits, there's something about them that really makes them stand out and go great with each member's individual style of fighting. Finally, I love the Kakuranger suits, they are one of the very, very, very few times I think Sentai has managed to absolutely nail minimalism and I remember being shocked that, for an entire year, these were the main look for Sentai.

Gokaiger, Magiranger, Go-Busters, Kyuranger, and even Ninninger. Hell, it's why a lot of people hated Ninninger. Such cool suit designs being used for a terrible show.

Dairanger. I love the gold highlights on the helmets and the color balance of solid and white. Kiba Ranger is maybe the dopest suit in Sentai history.

Despite the disappointment for this one I will say Ninninger because I really like how the suits were designed.

I dunno, I love the overall designs of the suits, but the lack of a belt always bothered me.

I tend to waffle back and forth on this question a lot, but these generally always stay at the top of the list: Go-Busters, Gokaiger, Dairanger, 3/5 of Battle Fever J, Hurricanger, and (unofficially, of course) Akibaranger. Dekaranger's S.W.A.T. mode was pretty awesome, too.

Zyuranger, Dairanger and Ohranger Suits are my favorites :)

I just saw the Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger designs and HOLY CRAP these designs are awesome. I love how beefy black looks, and pretty much everything except the Gold Ranger's helmet scales are rad.

Most of the modern suits mostly, like Gokaiger, Gobusters and Kyuranger.

Dairanger, probably. Their helmet designs are g o r g e o u s ♡

I can't help but laugh every time black shrinks down when he is in his ranger suit.

That's one of the parts I enjoy the most!
It's evoking Bruce Lee's suit in Game of Death, and I love it!

The normal Gekiranger suits are... fine. I get what they're going for (Bruce Lee), but the execution doesn't light my world on fire.

BUT, I absolutely love the Super Gekiranger suits. Something about the white breaks up the monotony of their base forms and makes the suits look less like pajamas. I also love how steam shoots out of the silver vents.

Also, GekiViolet is one of the all time great sentai designs.

As for my favorite suits?

That's really hard. My top five team suits would be Goranger, Bioman, Dairanger, Gingaman, and Hurricanger.

Narrowing it down to one is insanely difficult cause they all have distinct merits... but I'll give it a shot.

I think I have to give it to Dairanger? Mainly because they manage to have both excellent costumes and helmets for the whole team, while the other teams have one or the other. Dairanger is probably best all-around.

That said, I think I'd place the Gouraiger costumes from Hurricanger as higher if we were doing individual costumes instead of teams.

i think the zyuranger suits are still the best i 1st watched it as mmpr as a kid i know some people would say oh its just nostalgia goggles but not really to me the way they look that's what a superhero team should look like i love the suit design its still the best the diamond shape looks cool so do the helmets nothing comes close to this design its still a classic over 20 years later

I love the look of the Super Gekiranger suits, and Gekiviolet is absolutely beautiful!
I just love the look of Bruce's suit, so Gekiranger homaging it brings a smile to my face :lol

I'd have to say in no particular order my favorites are. Gaoranger, Megaranger, Maskman, Kyoryuger, Goseiger and Dairanger. all of them have a unique charm that just brings a smile to my face no matter if its a fan design for the same series a al Taiko554 on Deviant art or the officials.

KyuRanger definitely takes my favorite spot so far. After that is Go-Buster, Zyuohger (let the hate commence), and Kyoryuger. Note: none of these are in oder of most liked to least, just the way they came into my head.

Nah, I can totally understand liking the Zyuohger suits. At least now, I'll admit they take a couple looks before you start realizing that they actually look good.

Me too. Their helmets are some of the best designs I've seen from Sentai. I don't love the suits -- too minimalist -- but they're not awful.

That's why I like the suits, because they're so minimal. It's so minimal to the point that it strikes me as genius.

See, something that factors hugely into how much I like a suit design is how much it fits the series (hence Go-Busters being a favorite), and Zyuohger NAILS that. They're simple (but not too simple) suits for a simple (but not too simple) show. Basically the distilled essence of what a Sentai looks like.

Also, on the subject of minimalism, since I doubt anyone will mention them, I'd just like to voice my approval of the ToQger suits. All bright colors, all the time. Very appropriate for the rainbow motif running throughout the series.

Prior to that I would say Kakuranger and Megaranger and GogoV had the minimalist approach done well.

When it comes to ToQger my main problem was the tracks across the helmet. I just hated that for some reason. I don't know why, but I just hated it.

If we're talking minimalist suits, Kakuranger takes that crown far and away from others, easily.

Exactly! They're not aiming to be a million other things at once.
They're ninjas in a Ninja Sentai! So they kept it simple and clean~

My favorites are definitely the Gokaiger suits. Great color balance, cool helmets, and perfect blend of Sentai and naval aesthetics.

That said, I do have a soft spot in my heart for the Battle Fever suits. They are just so damn goofy in a very 70s way - especially Miss America - that they really transcend how dumb they are and become kind of awesome.

Go-busters are my favorite, I really dig the new leather design they went with them for that year.

Yeah they were smart to not go spandex.
The faux leather/enamel-looking suit was a smart move and they had the tactical look on point.

I also really like Dairanger, Gokaiger, Hurricanger, Dekaranger, Gingaman, Liveman, Maskman, Ninninger, and Zyuohger suits.
