Emu is convinced that Poppy can still be helped, but others are convinced she is lost to Kamen Rider Chronicle. What is the true secret of her powers?

No. M is the real person and is the Gamer. Emu is the doctor and is the Bugster. That is, unless I'm getting my M and Emu backwards. Because they're both pronounced the same. XD But the Gamer is the human and the Doctor is the Buster.

Where are any of you getting this from? Because NO. That doesn't seem to be the case at all from next week's preview.

Which part am I getting wrong? You can't just quote me and say it's wrong without actually pointing out which part is wrong because then I don't know which part to elaborate on. XD

Did you watch the episode yourself, or are you just taking ZX22's word for it? Because from what I can tell, that isn't what's happening.

I didn't watch the raw. What's the point of watching something when I have no means of translating. Also, hasn't it been hinting that the Gamer is the Human and the Doctor was the Bugster? Because that's what I've been gathering from the entire scenario.

In fact the preview even hinting,
both Emu, M and Pallad they are related somehow

Wow what a plot twist shit just got real. Pallad is Emu. And he possessed him. While next week marks the debut of Perfect Knockout, this twist has way more in store for where the story is going forward.

Nothing in this episode suggests that at least.

Parad assumes control of Emu's body at the end of this week. In the episode preview you can see the two halves of Mighty Brothers fighting each other. Emu (the doctor) is the blue-eyed half and Parad is the orange-eyed half (who previously was M.)

Here's my guess as to what is actually happening:

M is the Bugster of Knockout Fighter (notice how he was especially good at fighting games like Tekken) and Parad is the Bugster from Perfect Puzzle. When Parad hijacks Emu's body, M and Parad fuse together, which will allow Parad to become Para-DX 99 once him and Emu separate. In fact, from what I can tell, Para-DX Lv99's Driver is actually the duplicated Driver that results from MBXX.

Surprising plot twist at end of this episode :D

M is human and Emu Bugster :D

Hmm...next episode is really interesting especially Mighty Brothers battle and Pallad's new form, Para-DX Perfect-Knockout Gamer Level 99.

Well, I didn't mean that it was hinted at in this episode. I meant the series as a whole. As for you theory, I like it. And as for the Driver situation, while it could be a copy/duplicate, it could very well be just another Driver. I mean he does have access to G.C. tech.

M and Emu sound the same when spoken, but Parad only ever refers to M though. He also says "ore da" as himself which has been thus far been used to refer to M.

when emu got possessed by pallad in the one episode he was always focused on playing video games and not focusing on the patients which pallad never cares about and in the beginning of the series when emu pushed asuna on the ground, that wasnt emu, it was pallad. it all makes sense

Well, not literally Parad. But like... a missing half of one whole. Two separate Bugsters, M and Parad, that are meant to become one.

So no more Kamen Rider Poppy?
Since the Bugvisor II got thrown aside...I guess Chronos is using it next.

This theory may work since clearing Perfect Puzzle may not involve killing the enemy, thus the both the bugster and the host can hang around at the same time. It worked with Poppy, Motoz and Burgermon. And Parad's current form may not be his human form he gained upon completion, but his bugster form, like Poppy. I mean, some games have human characters, right?

Sounds like Emu might be walking the path of Scorpio worm and have an identity crisis soon.

About that...

Oh no no no, I was talking about the ride players infected with poppy virus.

I am still really want Pallad show his true Bugster Form.

Maybe in his climax battle?

And holy shit Pallad is M! Or something like that. It kinda reminds me of Sora/Roxas from Kingdom Hearts 2.

What, I... I was hoping that M was the human and Emu the bugster, but it's Parad who is M? And Emu is just the doctor? What this episode ending suggesting really confuses me. I was hoping it'll be the route where Emu was the competitive gamer who lacked the humanity that M, the bugster, has provided. Considering how the theme of harmless bugster in this series, that will be the biggest plot point to cement that idea.

Maybe Parad was the initial virus created by Dan, but it escaped the body and manifested itself to a physical being, while Emu is really the antibody created after infection. This might explain why Emu is far more humane and empathetic, while before M wasn't. And the reason why Parad desires to fight Emu was because he believes M's body is his rightful host.

I really, really liked that idea too, trust me, but there's no way it's canon. It's been stated before that, before he was infected with the Bugster Virus, he was...well, the Emu we have now, who was sweet and wanted to be a doctor. After he was infected, he slowly turned into M, and that, after his Bugster Virus was harvested, he returned to being Emu. This was confirmed back during Nico's backstory episode and the episode where Dan infected himself with Shakariki Sports.
So it's more likely that the big 'paradox' about Parad is, simply, that all along, he's been in two places at once, because not all of Emu's Bugster Virus was harvested - most of it was, and that became Parad - but the little that remained is still M.
So I suppose, if Parad/M is the Buster of any game in particular, it's probably Mighty Brothers XX, at least symbolically.

Really? I thought it was stated before that he was a gaming genius, and his interest in becoming a doctor only came later. Which episode was this stated? I need to rewatch that.

Nope. It was stated he wanted to be a doctor ever since Director Hinata saved him, but that he slowly became distracted by games, before suddenly getting serious a few years ago.
The relevant information to my above post is in, as I say up there, the episodes focusing on Nico's backstory, and the episode wherein Dan infects himself with Shakariki Sports, although I can't recall which those are number/title-wise.

Although the stuff about wanting to be a doctor before he became Genius Gamer M is also in Episode 9: Beat Up the Dragon! and Episode 10: The Disharmonious Doctors!

Fuuuuuuuuuck this episode is so good. It shows how threatening and outright abusive Parad is, Poppy managed to get development, the episode was a tear jerker, Emu played smart, and now Parad possessed Emu. Fuuuuuuuuck Writer-san doesn't take any breaks
EDIT: Though I just remembered the best thing about this episode. Para-DX tries to fight Emu but Emu can literally ignore him because of M A X B O I S
