I can't tell what I loved more about the stream: Hearing Genm's original theme play as he walked in to the scene, or seeing the chat lose its mind as it happened.

Poor Motoz, his weapon is the now-reprogrammed bike's handlebar and he get easily beaten by the Rider girls.

I am glad Genm's original theme is back, haven't heard it since, what, episode 5?

its just to make it Fair battle, emu jump out from the armor and battle 1 vs 1
and he lose ( well script says that, so GENM can enter the battle lol )

Kuroto is back and finally Emu can free from Pallad's possession but at end of this episode, it seems Kuroto's body is fully Bugster and not normal human body anymore because Kuroto's can be absorbed by Poppy's Buggle Driver II.

He's very despicable, but that's what makes him a good villain in the series. He's the opposite of Emu in every way possible.

ok, im shipping poppy and emu because poppy cares so much about emu that she would bring out a dangerous gashat to save him and emu putting himself in harms way even when she was evil to save her. that's alot more than just friendship.

Kuroto is officially a Game Genie.

Assuming that Gorider is canon, does this mean Baron, Marika, Another Agito and Lazer were doomed to fail from the start, and thus sacrificed themselves for nothing?

Given how much that plot felt like a Phantom one, and given Dan is very familiar with previous Kamen Riders and even used Wizard in his own special, it might have ended up reviving him as a Phantom...meaning he'd only be able to be hurt by magic, which none of the Ex-Aid Riders have, barring maybe Hiiro.

So I wouldn't say it was for nothing, as Bugster Dan is more easily manageable than a possible Phantom Dan.

Not very surprised about how Kuroto come back, but it's still pretty cool none the less. I love how he first shows up with graphical errors all over his suit. It was a nice touch alongside the fact that Poppy now has some control over the psychotic game glitch.

The large battle was pretty interesting too. I had ended up looking up a bunch of the riders' stats a few days ago and saw that 99 Para-Dx has slightly lower stats than maximum, which I think was reflected in this episode. Parad had his work cut out for him, though still kind of won in the end so that Lvl 0 could be shown off.

Also, GIRL KAMEN RIDER FIGHT YES PLZ DONT DIE. I haven't actually seen any of the other series that have female riders (minus Wizard and kind-of Fourze) so I'm really hyped for them being here. Though I am kind of disappointed that aside from Revol we haven't actually seen Nico defeat any Bugsters.

If that were the case, wouldn't he be unable to use the Gamer Driver? There's gotta be some of Dan's human DNA in him for that to work, especially when literally the last episode made such a big deal about it.

If the current Bugster Dan is just a copy of the original Dan, then they could always revive him using backup memories of the original Dan. He might be able to make duplicate copies of himself. Also, I can see trapping Dan in the buggle2 as a running gag in the next few episodes. It's quite clever they use "doctors" to promote the C drink. I remember the C drink commercials as early as Hibiki or Kabuto.

Something I REALLY liked about this episode. Dangerous Zombie always had those awkward yet creepy movements. Genm 0 had that too but to the point it outright hindered him as if he's not entirely used to fighting anymore

Well could be like when your a playing game with a infinite lives code and your skills start to diminish because you don't need to try as much when you have infinite lives.

This was a great episode and I'm surprised at how happy I was to see Dan not only come back, but to hear his theme music play too. Little sad we didn't get to see Baron Brave beat up a bugster, but once again, mighty action X level 0 made up for it for me.

okay first my nitpick:
-when emu lose is that because lifebar or Emu just give up? because thats kinda unfair to kiriya in my opinion as he died because of lifebar.
-SO MUCH OFF-SCREEN BATTLE

Other else well i just gotta love poppyshe is adorable heroine for this season, even though her fight scene need alot work at least she can stand own when something bad happen

^ It's probably the Gamer Driver's safety feature, which automatically de-transforms the Rider when their lifebar becomes too low (around 1 bar); unless their enemy has safety-disabling feature like Dangerous Zombie...

If that is true that is somewhat retcon little bit a story because the safety feature makes the fear dead on the first episode somewhat non-existent.

But it still can be true as kirya death because he inserted dangerous zombie gashat

I like how Dan came back nuttier and goofier than ever as a Bugster. Kinda makes sense, since a video game character (which is essentially what Dan is now) would be a exaggerated version of a real human being.


Also, I hope that with the Bugvisor 2 being Genm's main weapon, that Kamen Rider Poppy isn't totally pushed aside. In fact, my fear is that once Chronos comes along, that he'll be using Poppy's driver.

Episode shoulda been called: "Return of Gou's Jacket"

So if Dan is alive or at least his conscious lived on in a foot soldier (until I know the right name, I will be referring to the turkey heads as blanks), does that me he planned this a head of time or is it if a rider gets a game over they get transferred to a blank from their game? If its the latter then that would mean Kiriya could come back.

I love this new Kuroto. He's still a psycho, but has this comedic element to him. I noticed Genm was using Poppy's Bugvisor II so my prediction is that he's going to steal it and use the Kamen Rider Chronicle gashat and become Chronos.

I guess whoever clear the game first will get to become Chronos.

This new Dan Kuroto is interesting...love it that Poppy (Asuna) has control over him now lol.

Came here expecting Kamen Rider Chronos to debut. Didn't get Kamen Rider Chronos. Got Goofy Dan instead. Still satisfied.

Dan trying so hard to be threatening and just getting sucked into the Bugvisor II by Poppy SLAYED me. I liked how Genm level 0 looks a lot more after seeing it in the show too, the silver accents look nice. Provided Dan doesn't end up as the final villain, I wonder what kind of role he will fill. I don't think we have ever had a begrudging antagonist forced to work with the heroes extensively in Rider before after all. This episode also had some really wonderful moments for Poppy too, with her efforts to do whatever necessary to save the person who saved her. The next episode looks interesting as always, I wonder how long they'll be able to keep Dan the Man on a leash.

The biggest, dumbest grin got etched on my face as Dan was Ghostbusted into the driver. I'm sure Parad would have like Poppy a bit more if he saw Dan getting used the same way he's treated all the other Bugsters.

I really must work on getting the HD versions of these episodes archived. This is one of my favorite Rider series now of all time, purely due to the impressive work of the actors. And also, proof that FLOWERS DON'T COUNT! You hear that! FLOWERS DON'T COUNT!

Well Dan actor never got flowers but Graphites did and I think that is the first case of an actor getting flowers and then returning as a regular.

As your signature shows. Course whenever you change it the evidence goes too.

How an episode that full of suspense and stakes had me laughing so hard at the end just goes to show how amazing Ex-Aid is.

Anyway, really solid episode, but I'm kind of back in nitpicking mode this week so forgive me if it doesn't sound like I enjoyed it:

- For better and for worse, interrupting Emu and Parad's big showdown with Poppy in what amounts to a Scooby Doo chase scene is a truly amazing example of that distinctive Ex-Aid tone-deafness.

- Also, the Mighty Action X jingle gets REALLY grating when looped over and over again. Who knew?

- I like how the show is leaning into what a joke of a villain Dan is at this point. Still insisting he's the smartest guy in the room while the comedy sidekick character is now essentially holding his leash. I'd rather just be able to take him seriously again (or just be gone already), but hey, I'll take what I can get. Not really sure what makes Poppy think this is such a good idea though. You can see this whole plan backfiring from a mile away.

- (Obligatory reminder that Parad is a way better villain than Kuroto "Turns out Hell has a revolving door" Dan ever was)

I think the Greed from Os did too. Some actors return unexpectedly like Yaguruma in Kabuto.
