Looks great! and it's pretty apparent that it's using the newer ghost/amazons version of the pull down hips which if fine, I'm not quite sure why some people dread these hips though since they worked perfectly fine on the ghost and amazon riders. Also it's nice to know night rogue isn't too far behind. Pretty positive him and claws will be retail judging by the trends of the past few years

I'm looking forward to placing a preorder. I'm already enjoying the show enough to feel that I'll almost certainly purchase Night Rogue. That looks like a really nice figure. I didn't notice the Drill Crusher in the advert, which isn't surprising given what they pulled with Drive. Thank goodness I wouldn't display the figure with it anyway...!

I think the main reason being that the regular type of hips just look more "natural" in most cases, though in the case of suits that have a broken up look to them like Amazons or Build, it works alright. Then again they returned with the Ghost figuarts, which were infamous for their articulation issues as a result of the suit design itself, not so much the hip joint. Guilt by association and all that.

Wow this is a really early release for the current Rider. They usually come out around April/May but I guess this is because Build premiered earlier than most shows.


Either way super excited to get this guy. Build's been fantastic so far, Sento might be one of my favorite leads and the suit design is great.

I dunno man I never thought the range on the ghost figuarts hips was bad even with the parka since it was a bit pliable, same can be said about the rest of the articulation aside from the waist and torso. I mean I got the whole ghost trio not too long ago and can't help but feel people really exaggerated the "awfulness" of them to a cartoonish degree (seriously people act like that mold is the second coming of flame style).

Anyway back on topic, proportions definitely look better here than on that magazine scan from earlier (either that or my mind is playing tricks on me). Also I wonder if machine builder will be retail or not?

I love Build's design so I wouldn't mind owning one of these. Hopefully if I can get back to Japan next year like I'm planning, I'll be able to grab one. Maybe I'll find one used in Akihabara or something...

If not, maybe I'll order one online :lol

Yep build got the same hip joints as ghost did not shocking at all. Also you get it at a dirt cheap price of 3200 yen.

Let see how well this line sells with those joints again lol.

Oh man, Night Rogue and Build look fantastic. Really hope Blood Stalk is in the works too, 'cuz I NEED him. He's easily one of my favorite villain designs.

Night Rogue's proportions don't look right to me. Figuarts really slim down these things too much.

Pretty pleased with this. Sure he'll have no accessories whatsoever but I'd rather a price that like than a bunch of bits I'll barely use.

Night Rogue though.

This is such a poor sculpt. I saw someone else say this, but it's true. He feels like an old Figuarts. Like something that would have come out around 2012 at the latest.

The horn is oversized. The visor is opaque. The neck pipes aren't the right shape. He's way too skinny, making the armor and other bits look completely ill-fitting. The way the leg looks around the knees is terrible. The shin armor is oversized, making it look like he has bell bottoms or something. The pull-down hips break up the sculpt in a really unappealing way, and it generally just looks like there's a lot of detail lost around the legs, with the little silver bolts that just did not translate to the figure. The ones right above the ankle are particularly egregious in just how they just randomly decided to overemphasize them and made them too big. One or two of these things would just be nitpick material, but all of it at once make it feel like something of a rush job.

It is really disappointing. Especially because when they make Blood Stalk (who is my favorite of the two) he's just going to use most of the same parts and share most of the same problems.

I can only hope he goes through some heavy refining before release, but who knows how realistic that is.

Anyway, Build preordered. He, at least, looks pretty good. No Drill Crusher is really inexcusable though.

I'm still grumbling over here though, he looks so good, but the lack of accessories is so frustrating. They do this way too often recently, for no real reason.

I really like Build so far, so for that price, I might as well preorder him. Kind of cool that Figuarts of Build and Geed come out at the same time. If only we were getting a Shishi Red...

Pre ordered Build. I understand and agree with complaints, but the lower price really helps me out personally

Okay, glad I'm not the only one that thinks Night Rogue looks awful, but had I been the first to say it, I would have been called an idiot for thinking such.

Yes, he looks the way they looked when I started collecting the line in 2011. His proportions are off and he seems so skinny. I don't think he is that skinny in the show.

Calling it already. Drill sword with Gorillamond. Drill gun with HedgehogTank. They are pulling another Drive stunt with us when they put the Handle Sword with Wild and the Door gun with Technic.

At least they should put in an effect part like the graph that comes out when he does his Rider kick.

I think the reason why Bandai made him so cheap is because there are so many forms right from the start. Bandai got burn with the ghost Figuarts when he sold very little since he had many forms from the start as well. My guess is Bandai just wants to play it safe with the build line.

I look at that first image and the only thing I can see is how every single main Heisei Rider is there EXCEPT Kiva.

I know it's a triple dead horse by this point but man...lol
