It's honestly insane to me that a stage show exclusive form is finally being made as a figuart after all these years.

It looks incredible as well.

It's truly beautiful, I'm in awe. I'm actually feeling a bit fuzzy inside because this reminds me of the great SHF Gaim days... which were like 5 years ago now. Damn.

Anyways, I love the idea behind this form, they could release it as the headsculpt and crest on the chest are the only new parts, but I really doubt this will go up for pre-order. Especially with the 4 Proto Riders in the back who are definitely not coming out.

But man, if it would happen - I need it.

Glad my boy Takatora is getting a Kachidoki form, also DX Ridewatch as well.

Y'all seem to be forgetting Proto Baron, Proto Gaim, Proto Ryugen, Proto Gordon, Proto Bravo in the background. By god, I enjoyed Gaim but I think Toei's taking world building to the next fucking level. It's been many years since Gaim finished??

Of the many things I was expecting this morning, this was not one of them.

I can only hope it goes up for sale and triggers a nostalgia wave so I can finally get Banana Gaim...

Those are Proto Riders; Baron included, they are a thing in the stage show.

The basic plot of the stage play is that Takatora investigates an abandoned Yggdrasil experimental facility and discovers an underground city beneath it. The people there use Rider equipment to fight, they transform into these "Proto Riders". Much like with the Beat Riders and their dance groups, the people living underground formed tribes and the Riders are their champions. So Proto Gaim is the fighter of the "Orange Tribe" and so on.

Now I am very interested.

By the way, the Rider obscured by Zangetsu in the display picture is Proto Gridon. Without having seen the play, it would be hilarious if Proto Gridon is the most brutal, merciless and barbaric warrior among all Proto Riders :lol

I want him. I really hope that the figure will be a regular web exclusive and not some weird off-the-wall sort of deal.

The bonus for buying the home media release is a DX Ridewatch, so no "Buy the movie to receive a ticket which then lets you order the figure"-bullcrap here at least.

I hope it’s a Web-Exclusive too, while I obviously have no connection to this form, a brand-new Gaim design of this magnitude available as a great looking Figuart… yeah, that’s just awesome.

Incredible how every single Zangetsu form looks amazing. I'm not sure if this is my favourite, but it's a real competitor with Melon Energy and that says a lot. Absolutely incredible.
Also? Super curious to see that lockseed up close.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up being released as a DX Premium Bandai Lockseed as well.

I for one want to know what kind of sounds it makes. Same as the original or new ones? Also, the DJ Gun needs a new name considering the full title has “Orange” in it.

I might have to buy this, Zangetsu is like one of the few parts of Gaim I actually enjoyed, and a new form that looks that good? Yeaaaah I want.

I just don't see this getting release. It just hype just for the stage show to get people excite. Why the heck even make repaints when they won't be release. Just look what happen with the other forms like the movie riders never release so I see the same with this. I move on from gaim riders because there are other Figuarts lines to collect.

That sounds like an amazing premise. I really hope the stage show gets subbed cause it'll be a crying shame if it doesn't.

@Topic: Day 2 of hoping this is real. A Melon Kachidoki next to my Orange Kachidoki... I need this so bad.

So do I. I never even watched a Tokusatsu stage play before so I'm curious what kind of experience that will be.

The premise does sound great but they throw in the old, boring amnesia-trope as Takatora hurts his head in the fall down so he has no idea who he is. Would’ve preferred if they didn’t do that but hey, maybe it'll work.

If anyone's curious what a S.I.C. version of this could look like.
