It's one of those shows whose popularity is a bit difficult to quantify being that it's definitely not an unpopular entry, but is situated right between to massive fan favorites- In Space and Lightspeed Rescue.

Psycho Red has Force Lightning hands!! LOL! Now, lets see if they do a Green Psycho.

Is Lightspeed really that popular? I've never really een it mentioned compared to stuff like, say, Time Force, RPM, In Space.

That's an excellent way to get me to buy the rest of the Lost Galaxy Rangers when I really only wanted Magna Defender lol.

Fortunately both here look great!

Between Rangers, Star Wars, Marvel, and Transformers... Hasbro will virtually OWN the Western Action Figure Market!

Seems a little odd though as Leo only fought Psycho Red for one episode! Why they didn't go with Andros instead...?

Absolutely the best smack in the face to Bandai's subpar releases. I love this so much. And the rumored Blue Psycho listing now has more credence as a possible store exclusive as well. Can't wait to see Hasbro tackle Silver & Green and make those exclusives more readily available (and better made!).

Honestly, my only nitpick is that Galaxy Red doesn't include the lights of Orion pieces, since it's only an arm band, gauntlet, and upgraded sword.

I NEED this set! And the great thing about Power Rangers and Hasbro is that they love their repaints, so having these two molds alone should mean that LG Blue and Green and Psycho Black and Blue (maybe even Silver and Green as exclusives) should be coming very soon as well.

I thought so too (and I would have preferred Andros just because In Space is my favorite season) but I'm guessing Hasbro wanted to touch upon some characters that Bandai never got to while still giving us the fan-favorites.

It's a very smart move from them, actually. They're finding a way to package a ranger from a lesser-popular series with an iconic character from the franchise. People are gonna buy in for Psycho Red, but then end up with an awesome Lost Galaxy Red as well. Then they're gonna be much more compelled to finish out the team, which is much more likely to happen when you're only paying $20 per figure versus $60+ per Ranger with SHF.

I could definitely see them doing something slick like a Forever Red pack with MMPR Red and Wild Force Red to attract MMPR purists.

The only thing I'd say about that before you get excited about getting a lot of Psychos is that Hasbro has gone on record stating that they're focused on popular individual characters first and foremost; and have implied that full teams aren't a priority.

Granted, personal interpretation does a fair bit of legwork in these answers; but the general vibe I'm getting here is that full teams aren't something we should look forward to at least for the moment. (aside from MMPR because, y'know, MMPR)

If the Marvel line is any indication, they'll take their sweet time completing teams, but eventually it'll get done, usually within a 3-4 year timespan.

They own the license so we don't have to worry about contracts expiring or anything before we get our complete teams.

Didn't realize this was Best Buy exclusive either. That makes me even happier since I work for them and can probably get a decent discount on them.

I can confirm these are already in our store systems, though there's no release date listed.

Dammit. There's no Best Buy here in Australia. Hopefully someone gives a pack to Amazon so I can buy one of these things.

Discord is an online IM discussion service where you can find different servers dedicated to some topic or community. He apparently found this through a Power Rangers dedicated server.

Although, given that Discord servers are split up into separate channels of discussion, that just raises the question of if he actually didn’t mean a channel in a server and if so, what server?

It'll be a while before we have to worry about this, but when they get around making Blue Turbo Ranger... It's going to look awfully funny having that child civilian head on an adults body.
