Interesting how each of the little disks (whatever they're called) have the number of the show that the Ranger is based off (e.g. ZenkaiZyuran's disk has '16' on it as Zyuranger is the 16th Sentai), making me wonder if this could mean that new forms could be unlocked ala Kamen Rider.

Of course technically Gokaiger already did that by reusing old suits but if they really are making new forms for this show we're gonna be in for a ride.

Okay, I know there are those who want to rag on the bird gun, but I'm starting to get a feel for it. I'm also pretty sure that it's trying to capitalize on the old success of the GabuRevolver from Kyoryuger.

I know this may sound silly, But I just now noticed he has 45 on his helmet above his visor.

Okay so the belt is like OOOs. 3 Gears side by side. They are really pulling from all on this one.

I thought the Bird Gun was a mistranslation but there it- Geartlinger...

Which I guess is fine, but did they have to emblazon it right across the side like that? :D

Reminds me of how the earlier Sentai shows had the team and/or weapon names slapped on to the sides in large letters.

I still hate that gun. The ZenKaiser suit is so awesome but why did they have to give him a stupid Fisher-Price gun to transform? It looks awful.

God I love that suit design. Can't wait for this season.

so, just so we're all on the same page - Patranger got retconned to be part of the 42nd Sentai team, right? Cus it seems like they're lumped together with Lupinranger in the image and while I remember the director stating they're the 43rd team, Zenkaiser uses the 45 medallion so...I guess LuPat is just one team now?

I think the suits look cool, the gun looks alright. A unique concept at least?

Lupinranger and Patranger are not one team, they are from one season the 42nd season, that's how Toei is counting them.

They're really pushing ZenKaiser hard as the new face of Super Sentai in the Reiwa Era (or even Super Sentai as a whole for that matter).

I don't know if I am the only one to notice but the mecha partners are all based on mecha that the Gokaigers and Go-Busters transformed into initially during their team-up movie with the Megazord keys (except Gekiranger).

So, each mech gets a season number. Does this open the possibility of other season gears and mechs? I'd love to see Dynarobo, Jetrobo or Biorobo get some love. Daidenjin would work really well being a single jet to robot, no parts of the homage would be left out.

Something tells me that we will get 2 Gears with 42. One with LupinKaiser's face, the other with PatKaiser's face.

or one gear with both of them, like half and half down the middle.

Toei count seasons not individual teams. and it seems to only bother western fans about the designations anyway
