I jest, obviously. Honestly, it would be great to see these shows back, but as it seems like it's just one producer voicing a personal opinion—even if supported by other producers—I'm not going to hold my breath.

The question I have is will it go with space sheriffs, rescue heroes, or a totally new direction.

Considering the post-credits cameo in Kyuranger VS Space Squad, I think it could be Winspector and I would be totally okay with that.

I would especially love to see more Spielvan though!

While I would like to see B Fighter, I wouldn't complain about any of them. Hell, bring back Robot Detective :lol

Maybe, but I'm not sure how "we are in talks to bring back Metal Heroes in 2022" is a personal opinion.

I can only imagine what they're going to do for this. But whatever it is, I'm totally down!

As much as I love the original Metal Heroes, I think its about time we get a totally new Metal Hero.

Well, we're in talks right now about the same thing. :p Talking about a project, even on a professional level amongst fellow professionals isn't the same as "we have been given a lot of money and a commission."

Imo, the Metal Hero doesn't looks like could fit well with the current aesthetic/tendency.

Considering the aesthetic Zenkaiser decided to go with, I have to disagree wholeheartedly.

Have to agree on that, especially with how well they updated older Metal Hero monster costumes and older monster suits in general in the last decade.

Toei knows how to make designs, and Zenkaiger shows, they also know how to make throwback suits.

Only the show perfomance/audience will decide that and besides, Go-Busters had a similar premise and didn't go well.

I mean, not to step on any Go-Buster's fans shoes, but... Yeah, I can see why it didn't go well.

HAHAH! Absolutely! And I genuinely and absolutely without irony wish there was more access to those big stage shows that Toei put out featuring all the franchises interacting.

I digress.

(also I like the fact that this picture makes it look like Kento and Desast are just two guys trying to work out where they should order take-out from)

Also, on the subject of thinking alike, I agree. Like I'm all for this, but as I said, if it's just a bunch of producers chatting, sharing opinions about what they would do, then I'll await a proper press release before I get excited.

That'll depend from Toei becaue they decides that.

"Personal opinion" made it sound like the person was saying "we should bring it back" as opposed to "we're discussing the possibility."

With the clarification, then yes, I agree. It'd be awesome for it to come back but there's no confirmation of it coming back and if it does, in what capacity it will return (movie, limited series, or a fully-blown return).

I'd love for it to come back though, and if it does come back...I hope it's not a rehash of previous seasons. Give us new Metal Heroes.

To be fair, I'd be up for anything, and I never really followed the MH shows all that much—I just want something slightly different, and, hopefully, something with a big scope for story. But no one should listen to me anyway, because if I was asked about what Toei show I really wanted them to bring back, I'd put money down for Robot Detective or something.

Yeah, KR has more approach from the MH since Kamen Rider Kabuto.

If I may, unfortunately that is incorrect. It was since Kamen Rider BLACK's production cause number of Toei folks who worked on Metal Hero shows at the time were working on it last I heard.

That's what I have been thinking, as, yeah, there's absolutely been a trend.

I didn't know this! But, ah, that actually makes a lot of sense and helps me put my feelings about the post-Black shows in focus.
