Got the Eva Frame 02 set in the mail today. Box is a little banged up, but the figures are okay, and that's what really matters. I ended up coloring in the damaged parts of the box with a sharpie - I'm considering doing a video about these as well, so I want it to look nice.

So far, I've only assembled the one kit.

Do you keep the box for display or something?

I don't really display them, but I do like to keep the boxes. I still have the boxes for all of my minipla, for example. They just look really cool :lol. I might not keep this one, though - the outer box is busted up, the individual figure boxes are the kind that have instructions printed on the inside, and everything is in English so they don't really look as fun. We'll see though.

Got the OG two-packs of W Cyclone/Heat/Luna sets, and the month is Young (but toy buying will be curtailed until after my Daughter’s wedding/bill paying) these will put my collection at 470…..hopefully 475-80 by end of the month

Landfill is a really fun set that reminds me a lot of Sunrise Mecha anime like Brave Dagwon and J-Decker. These toys are nice and chunky. They really feel like a distant Sentai cousin. The combination is a little wonky but it was very ambitious with the way the main 3 robots could rotate and swaps limbs.

But the real big win this month was this:

I woke up early one morning and saw an eBay email alert for Super Robot Chogokin Daizyujin far far below normal price. It's a Japanese seller with a bunch of random items. The listing doesn't show the actual item and does not even use a stock image, but what looks like an image stolen from another listing. To top it all off, the seller has feedback in the low double digits with all current feedback listed as private listings or seemingly fake.

But I figure, hey why not, I'm protected by ebay & paypal right? I even opt for the very reasonable DHL shipping so that the paypal transaction doesn't expire before the shipping time. A week later it arrives and a part of me is expecting a scam or something like the wrong listed figure (this has happened to me before with an Evangelion figure and it was awful!). But there it is. One of the greatest Daizyujin figures of all time. Fantastic condition- it even still had the little plastic wrappers on the feet.

Having dropped disk rentals last night I will be ordering all episodes of Doctor Who Generation I up to Doctor Who The Movie - The Evil Within. (Whatever mini series are released on DVD.) This will take several months to fill in as there are 26 series and I'm buying them in story order. I started with the 1st 3 stories in a group pick up.

Power Rangers had 840 episodes up to Super Ninja Steel on DVD (Bought all of them)

Same deal for Doctor Who.

Of the 700 , 97 of them are missing out right. I listed in the Doctor Who Disk Thread which mini series were missing and episode count.

Late birthday stuff came in. It's been four days since my birthday lol, I was just waiting for them to all show up.

Figma Okita - been waiting for a good figure of Okita since I was exposed to Fate, and now of course I love this figure to death. The highlight of this.

Machine Hardboilder - For my Fuuto Tantei W. I think this is the first version, considering it has a clear window.

SHF Ultraman Trigger -Oh hey. The Smile-Smile Man. He's neat, and is going to be my last Ultraman figure in a really long while. Sucks he has a soft plastic chest tho, I can already see a paint chip.

SHF Kamen Rider Revice - The 2nd highlight. This set is great. Revi is the ultimate $30 special price SHF since he's a good package for just that price. Saber had his sword, but he had a few complications here and there, and Zero-One kinda felt off in his proportions. But Revi has great paint (I can see a bit of my reflection his metallic forehead), comes with holding hands on his own, and he has Saber's height or partially anyway.

Vice is cool too, I'm just not too big on him or his design, basically an accessory pack for Revi, but these two are clearly inseparable since each looks weird without the other. He's a bit loose and fiddly too idk what happened there when Revi is nice and tight.

The Revi figure is the real deal. One of the best retail mainline releases we've had in a while. Vice is a solid figure for a design I'm not always sold on, but it's fun to pose and was easy to secure

A really strong finish to the line, although I still have my nitpicks. Zombie Genm I've had on my wishlist for a long time, even if I haven't watched the show yet! Gorgeous figure

Bleeeeeeeeeegh. I really hope this doesn't become the standard going forward, that's going to turn every figure that has one into a time bomb.

Dangerous Zombie is one of, if not the, best releases in the Ex-Aid line, and possibly SHF to date. Superbly flexible and can pull off most of Dan's absurd poses unassisted on a flat and level enough surface. Plus it just looks so goshdarn menacing.

Theres just something about toys with diecast parts that make them feel supremely nice.

They do! It's a great looking display piece, I can't wait to pose SHF Zenkaiser in front of it.

Basically everything that's shiny on this toy is die-cast. Even the weapons. The sword by itself is as heavy as a 1:12 scale plastic figure :lol

They are super backed up, and take forever to process stuff. Like an extra 6 weeks or so. Which just kept rolling it into the next month, which is why my December-February orders are all in one package.

Have you compared DHL to FedEx? I've been finding that FedEx has been cheaper than DHL for my orders from Japan. But based on your order, maybe DHL is better for larger packages.
