Premium Bandai will also be releasing a Memorial Edition of the Hurricane Gyro to celebrate the series' 20th anniversary.

It’s expected they’ll do some special gathering and unexpected they went full out and make another movie. A lot of the previous sentai didn’t even get their ten years reunion movie.

I think it could have been heavily influenced by the availability of actors at the time of the anniversary. I think that the anniversary film, in which 5 out of 6 rangers appear only in costume, will not cause a lot of enthusiasm for anyone.

Is there any reason the green ranger wouldn't appear? Like is the character dead or something? I imagine the actor himself is busy or too expensive but the news article said "all of the rangers are returning" or something to that effect

I haven't seen all of Hurricaneger, but to my knowledge, Shurikenger's gimmick is that we've never seen his true face. Instead, he's voiced by Taiki Matsuno, who is still very active. However, every time he appears "out of suit", it's actually a disguise played by a tokusatsu veteran. It's possible he's still going to be here, and they don't want to reveal who his disguise is yet.

Oh gotcha, I appreciate it. The only Sentai I've seen to any extent was.. Go-Onger and a few episodes of Kyuranger.

Shurikenger may appear. Like... Even Tenkai may appear actually. But I'm more here because I was born when the show was airing, so I really appreciated Hurricaneger and its 10th Anniversary movie.

Now the new form looks awesome and I can't wait for October 2023 now.

I appreciate and love that the Hurricanger cast is like, always ready to return.

They did released the abaranger changer again. However,
Yellow was missing or retired. The only popular sentai that will get a 20 years is probably dekaranger because of the space squad gavan connections to other sentai toku series.
Other series might be skip over. The same with fourze and wizard cast only did a reunion talk like gogoV. Gaim is the best to receive a reunion movie given the cast keep returning, but Baron and lemon duke did something bad in reality, so they might be excluded.
Back to sentai, there’s possibilities retired actors retuning like the gokai actress who yellow is a voice actress and pink wasn’t acting for a long times, but gokaiger enable her to be back on social media. There’s also kamen rider outsiders and kamen rider aguilera that manage bring back a lot of the neo heisei and heisei cast, so if a show is popular enough then there’s a possibility.

Spoke too soon, but kind of see it coming since they re release its changer alongside hurricane. They must tried really hard convince yellow to return since she wasn’t in gokaiger or kyoryuger movies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z94FQkfjyHQ
