Spider-Man 2099 Omnibus Vol. 1: The original 90s comics all in one massive book. Seriously, if you've never read them, go for it. Miguel O'Hara became one of my favorite Spider-Men, and I'm so glad I decided to check his story out when I did, especially since it helped me to see just how badly Across the Spider-Verse ruined 2099's' character.

SHF Integrated Suit Spider-Man (Final Battle Edition): Minorly better than the default release of the suit. Now I just gotta wait for Andrew...

MAFEX Huntress & Nightwing: Medicom continues to knock it out of the park with their Hush line. Absolutely love both of these figures and I don't see myself replacing them anytime soon.

McFarlane Toys Medieval Spawn: A solid enough figure. I mainly just wish there was some drybrushing on the gray parts to make them look less cheap. That skull on his codpiece is especially bad in this regard.

Acrylic stand for Zero from GARO: I have no idea why Zero got a logo stand before GARO did, but sure, I'll take it.

Lightning Collection Tenga Warrior 2-Pack: I still consider the Tenga Warrior to be the best Mook figure that Hasbro has made to date, in any line, and these repaints are no exception. Highly recommend getting them if you're a Troop Builder.

ZAP Astro Megazord: Much better executed all around than the Dino Megazord was. You can tell is more in the team's' wheelhouse, given they used to do Transformers.

Moderoid Big O: Another model kit to add to my backlog. But, it's still one of my favorite mecha of all time, so hopefully the build won't be too much of a pain when I finally get to it.

SHF Super Vegeta and SHF Future Trunks 2.0: Vegeta is a fantastic repaint. If you don't already have the original, absolutely get this. It's a beautiful figure just like most of the recent repaints have been.

Trunks, however... I have a serious bone to pick with it, especially since Trunks is one of my favorite characters period. First off, as per usual with the figures made in Vietnam, the QC is absolutely garbage. His arm came detached inside the box, and half his joints are loose and the figure feels very awful to handle.

And while certain aspects of the sculpt are good(the head sculpts are especially great), decisions made elsewhere are baffling, such as the jacket being massively cut up in a nonsensical way that doesn't even allow for more articulation. The articulation in general is also very limited across the board.

Horrible ankles, the awful 3.0 hips, and more limited movement in general that there's no excuse for. Honestly, if you have the old release, stick with that. If Demoniacal Fit ever makes an improved knockoff like they have been for certain figures, you'd better believe I'm replacing this.

Can of Beams Effects: New colors for the lightning and wave effects. Very cool!

I'm really looking forward to the Jada Toys Ryu. It's already in my BBTS pile of loot but I'm waiting on other items

Man, bummer to hear the Trunks figure didn't turn out to your liking. I don't collect DBZ Figuarts but that figure looked amazing. I've seen the new kid Naruto figure is coming out of Vietnam, hopefully my copy turns out all right

Be cautious. Most of the Vietnam releases for figuarts have had one issue or another. Even reissues aren't immune, as seen with the SS4 Goku figure.

I also picked up the US releases of Vegeta and Trunks. I happened to have a third party head for the Vegeta body, so I popped it on, but I liked the Super Saiyan head for Vegeta so much that I put it on the Super Hero body. The skin tones for Superhero body and Super Saiyan head do not match exactly, but it looks good enough for me

Also popped on the Kamen Rider Black Sun head and chest piece that came with the bike. I?m probably going to pose the, uh, ?human? figure with the bike when I get that.

My trunks is ok for the upper body, but his legs are floppy as heck. I figure I will leave him in that pose and not fiddle around with the figure too much. I agree that a figure this good deserves better QC. Hopefully the Vietnam plants improve.https://www.tokunation.com/forums/at...1&d=1686366459

Sakura and Lovekov next to Black Sun is a very funny combination. Gay kid and her plush tsuchinoko who lives in her brain meets the Rider who disemboweled a guy in his first episode

I keep going back and forth on whether I want to pick up the Black Sun figure. I feel like the figure release got clouded by all the Shin Kamen Rider and Geats releases. Hopefully I can find it for a nice aftermarket price eventually. I'm fond of the SIC designs and the articulation of SHFs are a nice combo.

Small impulse buy while window-shopping at Best Buy.

Kinda shocked these Ultraman sets are sold for so cheap considering the number of Blu-ray discs you get. It even comes with a source book covering everything from production history and episode descriptions to character, monster and key item guides.

I?m like 99% sure this happened on Revice. My brain deleted that show from my memory though. It was for my own good, really.

I have a feeling the focal point of the vice and lovkov set was supposed to be the really nice Vice figure, but the lovkov figure is the only one I took out of the box.

I got the buildings from the Mezco Ultraman release. These things look so much nicer than the standard Tamashii buildings effects sets. Not a big fan of the Mezco Ultraman figure though. The buildings are great. You can buy them on ebay separate from the Mezco Ultraman figure if you want.

SS Gokai Red.

Fantastic upgrade. All the hands he needs plus a roll call hand the original didn't come with. Better proportions. Better paintwork. Can naturally cross his arms with his own dedicated hand options for it. The keys can insert into the mobirate and weapons. And he moves fantastically. Feels like his biceps and shoulders were built off of V3's design.

Very much recommended.

Oh those are some beautiful pics. They are not doing as many releases for Sentai as I would like, but the quality is there on the pieces they chose to release.

Just got the CSM Movie version Den-o belt.

Got in Buffa. Pretty cool figure, but I?m gonna have to watch some youtube videos to figure out how his special hand is supposed to work.

Also I was thinking about Toei perfectly capitalizing on the chainsawman hype the first time I saw Buffa?s weapon. So the idea for this battle came naturally to me.

I got in the AO studios Shin Kamen Rider jacket and scarf set.

I?m very satisfied with this set. Looking forward to watching this movie next month on Prime.

The vistamp set is discounted on their website so I grabbed it and always caught my attention when they first announced it. They're good additions to have and use with the figuarts despite them coming with vistamps as well. Obviously you can now get the vistamp holder with the lovekov and vice set but this feels the spot if you don't care for that overpriced release imo.

I love the led heads and this is my second one after having the zero-one head from awhile back. My only issue with the revice led head is that the faceplate easily comes off and not as securely attached compared to the zero-one led head. I look forward to the Geats one now

Combination of this month's and last month purchases:

Starting with these guys from ebay last month for a great deal each. I've always liked Kamen Rider 3's design and felt it was a good modern update of the original inspired Ichigo design.

I've really been loving the KR Live figuart and as always it takes having the figuart to really appreciate a design I might not like onscreen. Live looks good in many poses just like the whole KR Revice figuarts line so far imo. I have a reason to get Evil now.

The zero-one stuff was also won individually from ebay for great prices so now I guess I have to get Kamen Rider Ikazuchi now to complete the team.

Always liked zero-one's risehopper but didn't agree with the pricing Bandai set it at.

Saw Hobby-Genki had the kakuranger shodo set in stock so had to grab it. Got dinothunder black from Pulse and fortunately have no qc issues and I then decided to get dinothunder yellow to complete the team.

Finally got around to posing up the excellent new Gokai Red figure.

Not sure if anyone else is into this, but you can use one of the cross armed hands to be like a hand bracing an arm holding a gun. Anyway, that?s what I am using it for... for now.
