WINGMAN Live-Action Adaptation
 

Masakazu Katsura's tokusatsu-inspired hero manga Wingman is getting a live-action tokusatsu adaptation to celebrate the manga's 40th anniversary. TV Tokyo will start airing it on Oct. 22nd, 2024 as part of its DramaTues block.

Guess I gotta bump up how soon I plan to watch the anime on my list.

Only ever heard of Wingman, never looked into it. But it does seem like it's about time it got a live action adaptation in the form of a toku.

Fun fact, Ryo Horikawa voiced the protagonist who transforms into Wingman in the 80s anime.

Which is why knowing he was in one of the Akibaranger seasons I hope he's willing to cameo in at least one episode if available.
