2025's next Kamen Rider after Gavv?
 

As Gavv is still airing, I question what'll it'll be it's next rider?

Will it follow the JP rhino beetle motif like Stronger & Kabuto I'd bet?

We've had so many dino-themed Sentai but no dino-themed Riders. That's what I want.

Depends on what second theme to mix the dino riders with.

Joking aside, a proper dino theme would be nice. And while we had OOO incorporate an avian motif with Tatoba and Tajador, a bird motif for the titular rider maybe?

This year's theme is "candy," which seems completely bonkers and out of left field to me. I'm not even going to try and guess what Toei throws at us this year.

It was bonkers already when they gave us Den-O Sword Form. None of us expected a peach to split in half and become the rider's eyes. :lolol

I voted for the pirates. I won’t justify it logically, just a hunch.

We could sure use a new dino rider though.

My joking predictions for upcoming riders:

Ge-RZ (pronounced "gears"): Riders use gears to transform, the toys are compatible with the gears used by Zenkaiger and Donbrothers purely by accident

Gund: Bandai celebrates some important date shared between Gundam and Kamen Rider by retelling the original Gundam story with rider suits replacing mobile suits

Gorgeous: In Legend's world, a nobody has to step up and defend everyone when Legend goes missing

GAL: The first female main rider is a gyaru schoolgirl, she accessorizes her driver and weapons to be cuter which gives an in-universe reason why they're all colorful toys

Gaim Again: Follows Kouta's adventures as king of the new Hellheim world and his struggle to establish a peaceful Inves society

Ghost Again: Planned but cancelled due to Gaim Again's lackluster reception

The first series not starting with G since Geats

We haven’t seen a clown/circus motif on a toku hero before, and that’s something I would love to see someday, not necessarily next year. Actually, I don’t think I’ve seen a clown hero at all, usually clowns are villains.

Too bad we never got to see Drive Type Speed Shift Circus.

I just hope the next series doesn’t have fully Silly-Fugly suits.
Anything is better than Candy-Riders, I can’t believe it’s gone this far childish

How about a new space rider since Fourze where it's mixed with underwater sea creatures?

Or go for a Chinese Zodiac themed riders where there are four riders based on the four seasons - spring, summer, autumn/fall & winter.

Or music theme since Ex-Aid!

Or dinosaurs mixed with cooking/chefs/foods! Toriko/Shokugeki style!

Wonder how bird-themed riders would work? Jets in Top Gun style?

And how pirates would work?

Taking gimmicks from the villains, of course.

It's had ups and downs but the overall trend in Kamen Rider seems to be that Toei is trying to incorporate more themes that are popular with young people, and it's been especially strong lately with Geats's videogame inspiration, Gotchard's collectable card monsters and Gavv's candy. I wouldn't expect that to stop anytime soon, so let me ask this: What's something popular with kids or teens that you'd like to see in Kamen Rider, and how would you want it to be used?

And 2 more based on the tropical wet and dry seasons as well!

Beyblades? Marbles - Bakugan style? Yo-Yos?

I never saw Revice so I didn't know about this. That's pretty cool. I'd like to see one with a more full dinosaur motif, though.

Then I think we can actually get dancer riders who are actually dancers. With gimmicks in the form of labels for different forms/dance styles and the obligatory presence of fans who give the necessary power up.

Circus acts could have some really fun possibilities for rider kicks, like getting shot out of a cannon at the enemy or swinging on a trapeze, or even a roller coaster kick if the theme also includes carnivals and amusement parks

Hmm, I also notice that while we've gotten a few construction-themed forms from Drive, Geats and Gotchard, there's yet to be a rider who uses is as their main theme. Too bad the name Build is already taken XD

Do you all think it's possible the next rider for 2025 will be JP rhino beetle-based since Stronger & Kabuto?

Just wonder themes will go with such a rider?

I'm not sure how a circus theme can work. I mean I see a circus troupe being a villain team.
