Akibaranger Season 2 Episode 6 "Delusional Niangniang" Discussion!
 

Akibaranger is a series I can respect; as you can never tell what will happen next. I am wondering if she'll be the new Akiba Blue since Luna has no real interest or some other color.

Akagi's flashback to his mad crush on Colon was hilarious.

Love the ending song as usual.

Reading up material from the official site.

My impression is Whatever happened in S-1 was simply things got dreamed up by Akagi. The images of the Akibaranger suits are simply made up by Akagi's delusion. MMZ really does nothing at all. All events didn't really happened. Hakase, Aoyaki, Yumeria, etc. are all fictional characters.
S-2 is a by-product of both Akagi and General Tsuu's delusion. General Tsuu's interference cuts in right before the "change of course", resulting the clash between 2 major tokusatsu otaku's dream (Sentai Otaku vs Sentai Kaijin Otaku), and the change of position for all sub-characters.

The first half was mostly a lot of weirdness, but the second half was great. Next episode looks good. Between the Black Hurricane Red from the new V-Cinema and the yellow Gouraiger in next episode, Hurricaneger is getting a lot of new designs as of recent.

That's all I got to say about this episode.

Well...
That was strange. Stupid creepy shiny robot thing. Would have been good if they'd brought back the Jet Winger. Because, you know, Jetman! Also, the ending theme was sad. Was Dynaman a downbeat series?

Most shows have a slow song like that.
I still like this episode. The monster was freaky, don't get me wrong. But I really liked Nobu in this episode. It takes a true hero to overcome their fetishes for great justice!
