It's not news but I'm a giddy fanboy at this moment.

Got my confirmation right after I sent in my down payment for attendance to his event.

I cannot wait. His character is the reason I even cared about Power Rangers back when I was a whipper snapper. After meeting him that's it - I have no other "childhood heroes" to meet, because I've met, smoked with, had drinks with, Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) and meeting JDF is it.

I can retire my childhood at that moment.

JDF is definitely on my list of PR actors I wanna meet.

Peter Cullen -

I got to help "escort him" in and out of the panel room at BotCon 2004, his first appearance since 1998.

In 2008 I had skipped his panel (after seeing him in 2004, 2005, and 2007) and was out having drinks and smoking at the patio of the hotel bar. He walked up with a glass of scotch and a cigar and started doing impressions, asking us our names, thanking us, giving hugs ... it was awesome.

Wow. That is, I have no words for awesome it is to sit and chew the fat with one of your childhood heroes.

I also had breakfast with Neil Kaplan (voice of RiD Optimus Prime, Hawkmon in Digimon, and Diabolical in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue). He got in a shouting match with me because I thought Toody from the Facts of Life had her career ruined by drug-use.

Wait, RID Prime and Diabolico are voiced the same? I can mever watch LR or RiD the same again. :lol

My all-time biggest Fanboy moment ... two of them:

Pre-BotCon 2007:

A good friend of mine got me and two others in to Hasbro's HQ for a private-tour (before the convention's tour). We got to go to rooms that the main tour didn't, including Aaron Archer's office (at the time). Got to go and see hardcopy prototypes of Transformers Animated figures (Snarl was resin still, got to hold him and everything), as well as working test-shots of Animated Starscream. Got to see a sticky note that had "Dinobot Island?" on it. Got to see boxes upon boxes of unused figures and prototypes for the Hasbro tour before they were put in display cases.

The other was attending the pre-BotCon 2007 Transformers movie premiere. Red carpet walking up to it, meet two of the actors, free drinks, free food, free goodies for coming, and just the surreal moment of watching that movie before ANYONE ELSE got to see it.

I remember when this was just a rumor. Damn rumors.

Dang, okay any other awesome moments that I wish I could have? :lol
