Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Sixth Division Semi-finals Round 3
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman
Blue Ranger: TJ Johnson
Pink Ranger: Jen Scotts
Green Ranger: Adam Park

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

We can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. There's only one semi-final to go and then it's on to our last final. Two Sixth Rangers left to go. Two last challengers to see if anyone can stop the Tommy train.

But seriously. I still haven't seen Jungle Fury. I hear it's good but I don't know anything about RJ.

This is unfair because I haven't watched Lightspeed Rescue... But my vote goes to RJ, he's one of my favorite rangers ever.

Though from what I know Ryan is awesome as well.

Let's see, Ryan has that ax/gun and RJ has Not-ShiGeki. Ryan knew the enemy because he was pretty much raised by it, RJ is a laid back badass that acts as the Gou and Shafu of JF.

Not sure who has a better chance against Tommy, though.

To be fair some people haven't seen all the ranger seasons.

either of these would be good but we already have a LSR and JF ranger on the team and id prefer that every ranger be from a different season. ugh.

RJ, sorry I just can't see Ryan winning this one.

Eh. I honestly think Gemma's the only semi-finalist who probably didn't deserve to make it this far. Ryan and RJ certainly both stand a decent chance of making it all the way.
