As for the news all I can say is... meh.
I suppose he will be batman in the new Superman / Batman movie and I honestly didn't have high expectations for it.
And is Affleck really such a bad thing? I mean we know basically nothing at this point, it can't be as bad as Batman and Robin.

I always keep it civil.Quite honestly even if it wasn't Affleck,them making "Man of Steel 2" into "Superman/Batman" was a bad move in the first place.They should have made a direct sequel just having Superman in it,flesh him out as a character more.

As for Affleck,I take nothing away from him as a director or writer.He's even been a decent actor.But when it comes to superheroes,he has a track record of not doing good.His biggest flop was Daredevil,which is basically Marvel's Batman.I'm just afraid that he wont get the character right,that he won't seperate Bruce Wayne and Batman.
