Worst Godzilla Movie
 

Which one do you think was the worst? I think Final Wars was the worst. The movie is a Godzilla's 50th anniversary and he's hardly in the movie. The acting is awful and the action scenes just rip off from other movies like X-Men, The Matrix and Jet's Li The One. The human characters were lame and Don Frye is the only character worth watching because his character is so over the top.

SpaceGodzilla comes in pretty close for being so dull. Same with Godzilla Raids Again.

Godzilla's Revenge.
No matter how many people tell me that "It's so cheesy and dumb that it's actually hilarious" will never get me to rewatch that movie again.

At least Final Wars was somewhat entertaining as a high budget popcorn flick. But Revenge? Oh god, it's just...Terrible.

(Note: I have an annoying prevalence of confusing the titles "Godzilla's Revenge" and "Son of Godzilla." I'm talking about the movie that has Minila talk to a school kid about bullying or whatever)

Godzilla's Revenge followed by Megalon followed by Hedorah.

While GR/MAM is not a good movie, but I would take them over Final Wars. With that movie, it's short and harmless fun for kids. Megalon and Gigan are not good neither, but I enjoy them for what they are.

Revenge for sure. The only movie that upon watching it, it made me sell it off immediately because I disliked it that much.

So why can't you enjoy Final Wars for what it is? Mindless violence for the sake of mindless violence. It's not a movie that's trying to provide some kind of message or moral, it's not trying to be thought provoking or introspective, it's Godzilla interspersed with jump cuts the of fight scenes from The Matrix. It's goal is to just be "OMG FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT move end."

It's a tie. Between the 1998 Godzilla movie and King Kong vs Godzilla. No way, on any Earth, in any reality, does King Kong win that fight cause someone's beating drums!

It's a toss up between Godzilla's Revenge and King Kong vs. Godzilla for me. Revenge is a pretty awful film, but King Kong is bad, boring AND overrated.

Honourable mention to Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, which honestly bored me to tears.

oh dear god I just watched Terror of Mechagodzilla...just...bad, I'm sorry...I dug Final Wars, if just for the level of crazy it reached...
