KR Episodes
When it comes to KR episodes its the flow of the KR series' story.
I mean for some episodes in Wizard for example... what's the point of 2-part episodes like Episode 36-37 & Episode 38-39? I mean they don't like they're needed. Well episode 36-37 didn't make sense at all. At the end of episode 37 the victim goes into despair when the bird phantom is destroyed. |
I think it would be in your best interest to at least give the episode titles. I only know what 36-37 is about because of the description given about the ending.
It's called filler. They serve the purpose of lightening up the mood after a set of intense episodes, giving a background character a chance to shine, or so they don't have to worry about an important episode having a ratings drop because of holidays/sports events/etc. |
The series are meant to run for a year so there's going to be filler every now and then. As for 2-parters that was a formula that was first established in Den-O and pretty much used all the way up until Gaim.
|
The two part formula has actually been around in some manner since Kuuga. It's just that the formula was never as rigid as it was until Den-O came about. I think by the time Wizard came about, all that could be done with that formula had been done and that show really suffered as a result.

I'm talking about...
Wizard: Episode 36-37 The Myna Speaks (九官鳥は語る Kyūkanchō wa Kataru?) Wanted: Despair (絶望、指名手配 Zetsubō, Shimeitehai?) I don't seem to be fond of these episodes' story. I mean the guy went to despair at the end of episode 37. Disappointed that I was expected a fight between Wizard & Wiseman. Episode 38-39 The Stolen Hope (奪った希望 Ubatta Kibō?) What was Forgotten on the Pitch (ピッチの忘れ物 Pitchi no Wasuremono?) I hated that 2-part episode. I was hoping for more Koyomi. It had to be more about Haruto. |
