Super Megaforce Episode Reminder
 

Just a reminder that there will be no episode this week. So look for Super Megaforce, and the episode discussion threads, to return one week from tomorrow on April 5th with the introduction of Super Megaforce Silver!

Super Megaforce is also going on Hiatus after Silver Lining's Part 2.

Not only do they delay the new episode featuring the Silver Ranger by a week, but after the second part of his debut, they're gonna go on another Hiatus?

What's the reason for it?

Reason? Trying to stretch out a 20 episode season to cover a whole year. Yeah. Sucks huh?

I mean they could've at least hit the halfway mark at 10 episodes. But had they done that kids would be wondering where the Ninjazord was at stores(Though they'll be doing the same with Silver who's only merchandise atm is a Mega Bloks figure and Mega Bloks zord)

Yeah, and it's gonna make us forget people and important events.

Infact, I remember this "meme text" image with a picture of what's his face, the sludge guy who liked to twirl when he talked and worked with "Bluefur". And it said "Oh yeah, let me just remember who you are...FROM SIX MONTHS AGO."

Seriously, Saban, there are better things you could do than just pad it out with a HIATUS for six months. It's these kinds of moves that'll make you lose old time fans and kids with shorter attention spans.

Not to hate on the Power Rangers...but Super Megaforce has just been kinda disappointing me every step of the way... why only 20 episodes...? Why make it a continuation of Megaforce, instead of going with the amazing theme of having a pirate team(which makes tons more sense than the reason they gave us...)? You used everything else...! The big battle at the end is gonna have to be absolutely amazing... cause I feel like Saban is losing more and more fans each week. The only reason I watched last week's episode was because Casey, the Jungle Fury Red Ranger(who is my favorite Ranger of all time, tied with RJ, the Wolf Ranger)was guest starring/cameoing in it.

The 20 episode at a time question can be answered by Nickelodeon. That's how they do almost all their shows, and how they've done Power Rangers since airing Samurai when Saban took control again from Disney. There's really nothing to be done, since again that's how Nick does every show they own, until Saban Brands decides to cancel their contract and move everything to a different network. Which probably won't happen.

And it's a continuation of Megaforce for a few reasons. Since taking the reigns again, Saban has broken every Power Ranger adaptation into two seasons. Samurai and Super Samurai, and now Megaforce and Super Megaforce. In fact, if I remember right, even next years will be Dino Charge and Super Dino Charge. And also because Saban stated at a Con before Megaforce that they can't skip seasons. So they had to use the suits from Goseiger to fullfill the contract with Toei. And besides, some of us enjoyed seeing the Goseiger suits being used :p

And Saban isn't losing anything. Ratings are a juggernaut, I believe, and toy sales are astronomical.

Ahh, ok. Thanks for the info! I guess my info is wrong, I had heard a lot of Power Ranger older fans gave up Super Megaforce in favor of Gokaigers. But the toy sales I definitely know to be a fact, even I have a Legendary Morpher, and I'm in college. Lol anyway, thanks for setting me straight, but not being a butt about it like a lot of people can; I appreciate it.

I promise, no butts work here :lol And some of the older fans did jump ship just because of the production quality and other factors. But the youth ratings have been through the roof, and die-hard PR fans like me stick with it despite the flaws.
